withthefinancialstatementsofthecharityfortheperiod31August2022to29August2023.Thetrustees have
adoptedtheprovisionsofAccountingandReportingbyCharities:StatementofRecommendedPracticeapplicable to
charitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordancewiththeFinancialReportingStandardapplicableintheUK and
Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).
Anotherverydifficultyeartogetthroughandforlotsofpeoplealsoandnotjustbecauseoftheaftereffectsof the
pandemicbut jobs and cost of livingpriceshittingthe economy.Ourworkis evenmoreimportantand to helpall in the
communities we go to work in.
Wecontinuetoworkwiththevulnerableanddisadvantagedyoungpeopleandadults,offeringahealthierlifestyle and
an opportunityto gaina Level1 and2 Footballcoachingqualification.HealthThroughSportisan accreditedcentre for
OpenAwards,which if achieved by the participants,is a national qualification.
Wearrangedanumberofmeetingstodiscussmentalhealthissuesandthesehavebeenreceivedreallywellby all
whoattended.WefinishoffwithaQandAfromtheattendees.Sporthasaprofoundandpositiveimpactof mental
wellbeing.Beingphysicallyactivecanimprovemood,decreasethechanceofdepressionandanxietyandleadto a
better and more balanced lifestyle.
IdidacharitywalkinHollandtoraisemuchneededfundsforHealthThroughSport.IwalkedfromADODenHaag to
NACBreda,2of myexfootballteamsthatI playedforinHolland.Thankstoeveryonewhohelpedputthistogether and
to all who donated to Justgiving, its much appreciated.
OurcharityGolfDaywas a greatsuccessandallteamswho enteredthecompetitionenjoyedthedayand it took place
at Blundells Hill Golf Club. The teams competed for the 4th Dixie Dean Cup.
ThankstoalltheteamswhosupportedtheeventandBlundellsHillGolfClubandtotheexprofessional footballers
who playedincludingJordanPickford,Evertonand England,who kindlydonateda signedpairof his keepersgloves for
the raffle. Thanks to all the staff at Blundells Hill,the food and course was excellent.
Wehad2 charitydinnersattheHiltonHotelandtheywereenjoyedby alltheguests.ThankstotheHiltonHotel, guest
speakers,comedians, and the MC but most of all the ones who supported the event.
Overthenext12monthswearearrangingourcharityGolfDayandacoupleofdinnersandhopefullyanothertype of
event.
Wearealsohopingtostartaprojectthatincludesretiredpeople,weredepressionisontheriseandalso loneliness.
We have spoken to a number of people who are interested in coming along and joining in.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As thecharity'strusteesof theCompany(andalsoitsdirectorsforthepurposesof companylaw)you are responsible
for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 ('the 2006 Act').
Havingsatisfiedmyselfthattheaccountsof theCompanyarenotrequiredtobeauditedunderPart16of the2006 Act
andareeligibleforindependentexamination,Ireportinrespectofmyexaminationofyourcharity'saccounts as
carriedoutunderSection145oftheCharitiesAct2011('the2011Act').IncarryingoutmyexaminationIhave followed
the Directions given by the Charity Commission under Section 145(5) (b) of the 2011 Act.

Independent examiner's statement

Ihavecompletedmyexamination.Iconfirmthatnomattershavecometomyattentioninconnectionwith the
examination giving me cause to believe:

1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Company as required by Section 386 of the 2006 Act; or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or

3. the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of Section 396 of the 2006 Act other than any requirement that the accounts give a true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination; or

4. the accounts have not been prepared in accordance with the methods and principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice for accounting and reporting by charities (applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)).

Ihavenoconcernsandhavecomeacrossnoothermattersinconnectionwiththeexaminationtowhich attention

1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements

Thefinancialstatementsofthecharitablecompany,whichisapublicbenefitentityunderFRS102,have been
preparedinaccordancewiththeCharitiesSORP(FRS102)'AccountingandReportingbyCharities: Statement
ofRecommendedPracticeapplicabletocharitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordancewiththe Financial
ReportingStandardapplicableintheUKandRepublicofIreland(FRS102)(effective1January2019)', Financial
ReportingStandard102'TheFinancialReportingStandardapplicableintheUK andRepublicof Ireland'and the
Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Income

AllincomeisrecognisedintheStatementofFinancialActivitiesoncethecharityhasentitlementtothe funds,
it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.

Expenditure

Liabilitiesarerecognisedasexpenditureassoonasthereisalegalorconstructiveobligationcommitting the
charitytothatexpenditure,itisprobablethatatransferofeconomicbenefitswillberequiredin settlement
andtheamountoftheobligationcanbemeasuredreliably.Expenditureisaccountedforonanaccruals basis
andhasbeenclassifiedunderheadingsthataggregateallcostrelatedtothecategory.Wherecostscannot be
directlyattributedtoparticularheadingstheyhavebeenallocatedtoactivitiesonabasisconsistentwith the
use of resources.

Tangible fixed assets

Depreciationis providedat the followingannualratesin orderto writeoff eachassetoveritsestimated useful
life.

Taxation

The charity is exempt from corporation tax on its charitable activities.

Fund accounting

Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees.
Restrictedfundscanonlybeusedforparticularrestrictedpurposeswithintheobjectsofthe charity.
Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes.
