**Objects:** 1) TO RELIEVE THE NEED OF THOSE WHO HAVE A COLOSTOMY OR OTHER TYPES OF STOMA AND THEIR FAMILIES BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, REASSURANCE AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION;2) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF OSTOMATES BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES SUPPORT SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES;3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF COLOSTOMIES AND OTHER TYPES OF ABDOMINAL STOMAS;4) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTHCARE SUCH AS MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS.

**Activities:** Supports people pre and post colostomy operation and their families and carers.  Produces a range of literature, including a quarterly magazine. Operates a 24 / 7 Helpline. 90+ contact volunteers across country.
