All Trustees give their time voluntarily and receive no remuneration or other benefits. During the 2020/21 year the Covid-19 pandemic is significantly impacting our operations in Rwanda. Schools have been closed for a significant part of the year and organised sport largely ceased. We continue monitor the situation and to support our RDOs as best we are able, whilst carefully reconsidering our plans for 2021/22.

Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

During 2020/21 FoRR employed RDOs in 9 of Rwanda’s 30 districts. The activities of our RDOs have been significantly curtailed as a result of the covid-pandemic and the volunteer visits planned for the year have been postponed.

Fundraising activity has actively continued and we are delighted to report that we have also received a significant grant from Heb Ffin and from the Barbarians Rugby Charitable Trust. These will enable us to engage a further cohort of primary school teachers, with the support of the Rwandan Ministry for Education, and to train them as Tag Rugby coaches. This will enable us to further extend our programme of work in new areas and to integrate further with the national curriculum. We will also be able to expand our team of RDOs to at least 15 for the next 2 years.
