The provision, or assistance in provision,
of facilities at Oakfield Preparatory
School for the furtherance of the
education and development of children
attending the school.
OAFS arranged a number of fundraising
events over the course of the academic
year 202312024. These included: second-
hand uniform sales, cakes sales, the sale
of charity Christmas cards designed by
the pupils, a 'Santa parkrun,, a quiz night,
a music evening, a Summer Fair, a Disco
for pupils, a Movie Night for pupils and a
Family Fun Day.

Achievements and Performance
SORP referen
OAFS were able to undertake many 'in
person, fundraising events in 202312024
thanks to the hard work of the volunteers
as well as the online sales of second-
hand unifonn and Christmas Trees.
These events not only raised a gross
amount of over £34.Sk, but strengthened
the school community for both parents
and children; all in-person events were
well attended and positive feedback was
received from staff, parents and pupils
alike.

OAFS ended the financial year in a strong
position, having raised a cash surplus of
£11,347 after fundraising expenses and
expenditure including Gifts towards
Oakfield Preparatory School.
OAFS hold two bank accounts and
PayPal account. which held a totsl of
£43,502 in cash on 31st July 2024. Of this,
£500 is kept in the PayPal account to
cover costs and £7696 was committed
towards Gifts to Oakfield (to be
purchasedlpaid for during the 2024-25

During the financial year, OAFS raised
£34,537 {£20,467 after the removal of
fundraising expenses).
This income was made up of the
proceeds of fundraising activities and a
termly parental subscription from current
student's families to OAFS.
Further payments from the bank during
the year include:
£1714 in gifts to Oakfield including
£1100 towards a new table tennis
table for the Prep school and £450
towards the Year 6 leavers party.
£5351 towards the cost of the
annual mini-bus hire for the
school
£865 towards other administration
costs

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('the Trust") for the year ended
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 (°the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Chartty Commission
under section 145{5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention (other than that disclosed below ") in connection with
the examination which gives me cause to believe that in. any material
respect:
accounting records were not kept in accordan￿ wtth section 130 of
the Act or
the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
conceming the fom and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
