**Objects:** TO PROMOTE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF EMERSONS GREEN AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE 'AREA OF BENEFIT' ) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF ADVANCING EDUCATION AND IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTSTO ESTABLISH OR TO SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A VILLAGE HALL (HERE IN AFTER CALLED THE HALL) AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE, OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH HALL FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE 'EMERSONS GREEN VILLAGE HALL' (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE TRUSTEES) AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES ON FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.

**Activities:** The Charity has the general aim of contributing to the quality of life of local people and organisations by providing facilities for recreation and leisure time activities.  The facilities are provided in the interest of social welfare and are available for anyone needing them. By hiring facilities to business users, the Charity is able to offer facilities at a reduced cost to community groups.
