We provided humanitarian aid to the
developing world by sending: 1 container
of artificial limbs, furniture, equipment
and supplies to hospitals; volunteer
doctors to perform surgery and train
local medics; food, clothing, medicine
and relief goods to the to those affected
by poverty and natural disasters in
Pakistan.
Free orthopaedic surgery camps were
held in Karachi, Dadu & Tando
Muhammad Khan. We continued our
humanitarian work this year and provided
relief to the poor and needy with a special
focus on rural areas.
Polio is still prevalent in Pakistan, with a
large number of cases with post-polio
deformities. We continued to treat polio
affected patients in collaboration with
Rotary International through their Karachi
branch. Funds were raised for 200
surgeries which were subsequently
performed.

Para 1.20 The charity continued to focus on improving
the health sector in Pakistan.
An increased amount of prosthetic limbs and
physiotherapy services were provided free of
cost to the disabled at the rehabilitation
centre in the Chiniot region. The centre
hugely benefited from limbs sent from the
UK.
Under resourced hospitals across Pakistan
were provided with furniture, equipment and
supplies.
Over 408 Orthopaedic surgeries, including
knee and hip joint replacement, were also
done free of cost for underprivileged patients
at hospitals in Karachi, Dadu,Tando

Muhammad Khan and Chiniot. Stoma bags, medicines and medical imaging equipment were supplied to local hospitals in Karachi & Chiniot for cancer patients free of cost.
