## **Charity No. 1112945** ## **Trustees Annual Report for the 2023-2024 year** This year saw an unusual event in that a client of a member very generously donated £5000.00 to go to any charity/organisation we thought were deserving of help. This money was used to make donations to local charities who provided speakers at our meetings, the Rotary International General Fund (to help projects World Wide), the Rotary International Fund to Eradicate Polio, the Pahar Trust in Nepal and a contribution to a future Rotary Global Grant being assembled by a member to solarise boreholes in Kenya. Our annual Golf Day was again a success with donations being given to the national charity, The Tuberous Sclerosis Association, and several local charities/organisations at an evening event later in the year. Another notable event was the start of fundraising for a project to supply impoverished children in Grantham with Winter Coats and shoes. Our annual Duck Race and Santa Fun Run were well supported although the number of “Santas” taking part was down on the previous year. Overall we can report another successful year.
