Activities

Thara Welfare Trust is working towards eradicating the roots of poverty as well as supporting those that are sufferring from poverty. The charity is, thus, supporting the poor and needy in their educational, medical and other financial needs. This includes treatment for major illnesses, supporting local schools and providing basic essentials.

Objects: The Trustees Must Apply The Income Of The Charity In Furthering The Following Objects ("the Objects"), In Kashmir / Pakistan Or Such Other Parts Of The World As The Trustees Deem Appropriate.(i) Natural Disasterthe Relief Of Financial Need And Suffering Among Victims Of War Or Natural Or Other Kinds Of Disaster, Trouble Or Catastrophe In The Form Of Money (or Other Means Deemed Suitable) For Persons, Bodies, Organisations And / Or Countries.(ii) Education To Advance The Education, In Particular But Not Exclusively Of The Pupils At Kashmir Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities Not Other Wise Provided By The Local Education Authority For Education At Schools.(iii) Relief Of Financial Hardshipthe Relief Of Financial Hardship, Either Generally Or Individually And To Provide Or Pay For Items, Services Or Facilities Which They Can Not Otherwise Afford Through Lack Of Means.(iv) Relief Of Sicknessthe Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation Of Health.
