**Objects:** (A) TO RELIEVE DISTRESS AND SUFFERING OF ASIAN WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN CAUSED BY MALTREATMENT BY THEIR FAMILIES OR BY PERSONS WITH WHOM THEY ARE OR HAVE BEEN LIVING;(B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AMONG THE INHABITANTS OF EAST LONDON IN PARTICULAR AMONG ASIAN WOMEN;(C) TO PROMOTE ANY OTHER PURPOSE WHICH IS CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO ENGLISH LAW AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE PURPOSES WHICH WILL BENEFIT THE INHABITANTS OF EAST LONDON.

**Activities:** ELAFC provides a culturally sensitive counselling service in a safe and confidential environment to Asian women and male and their families in Tower Hamlets. We provide counselling and support in the area of Mental Health, Domestic violence, Couple counselling, Crime and disorder, Advice and Information. Due to the longstanding service in LBTH, local agencies are confidence to work in partnership.
