Rachael Harris Book-keeper ## **Structure, Governance & Management** Type of Governing Document Memorandum and Articles Of Association How the Charity is constituted Limited Company Trustee selection methods Elected by committee and staff at AGM held in July ## **Objectives and Activities** The preservation and protection of the environment, by the recycling and reprocessing of electronic articles that would otherwise go to landfill through 2 the advancement of education among young people and adults, including those with special needs, by the provision of facilities as will enable such persons to acquire and develop vocational skills which will enhance their employment prospects and life skills. ## **Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects** We accept all end of life, electrical and electronic equipment for recycling, except fridges and freezers. Our volunteers receive these goods and refurbish them where possible, in order to send them back into the community. The vast majority of these goods are refurbished. The remainder are further separated and then sent for reprocessing by companies registered to do so. ## **Achievements and Performance** Our thanks go out to the Big Lottery Fund and Awards For All for their awesome help. We have had another hard year, but everyone as always, has pulled together and done their utmost to offer their continued support. We also need to thank all our patrons and volunteers who help ensure the continuance of this project. ## **Brief statement on the Charity’s policy on reserves** Being a non-profit making company, all monies are retained in the Unplugged bank account for use by Unplugged. No profits what so ever are distributed in any way to any person. ## **Declaration** The Trustees declare that they have approved the trustees report above.
