Activities
We work at national, regional and local level on behalf of all Gypsies and Travellers regardless of ethnicity, culture or background. Our work is built on three main pillars - Casework, Capacity Building and Campaigning and we work in our own right and with partner organisations towards seeking to eliminate racism and discrimination against Gypsies and Travellers.
Objects: To Provide For, Among Such Persons As Adopt, Whether Temporarily Or Permanently And Regardless Of Race, Culture, Nationality Or Ethnic Origins, A Nomadic Style Or Habit Of Life (Herein After Referred To As 'Travellers'):1. The Relief Of Poverty In Particular But Not Exclusively Through The Provision Of Advice, Advocacy And Counselling For Persons In The Necessitous Situation, In Particular Those Who Are Homeless2. The Advancement Of Education3. The Promotion Fo Good Health And The Relief Of Sickness 4. The Promotion Of Equality, Diversity And Racial Harmony By Encouraging Others To Understand The Culture And Needs Of Travellers And Highlighting The Needs Or And Issues Affecting Travellers 5. The Relief Of Unemployment In Such Ways As May Be Though Fit Including Assistance To Find Employment.
