throughout the year to provide opportunities
for families to socialise as well as raise
money for our school. Our largest events
were our sponsored fun run (over £4800
donated in sponsorship), a Silent Auction
(over £5000 profit), our Sports Day After
Party (£1800 profit) and our festive fair and
quiz night (£1200 profit). As well as being
valuable fundraising opportunities, most of
these events gave everyone at our school an
opportunity to come together and get to
know each other, continuing to strengthen
the bonds between school and families.
The generosity of parents directly donating
to us or participating in matched funding
workplace schemes contributed over £14
000 to our funds in 2025.
We continued to hold weekly treat sales, ad
hoc uniform sales, a film night and worked
with staff to create a school cookbook and
this all contributed to an excellent year of
fundraising.
Our significant expense of the year was to
pay for half of the cost for a new Multi Use
Games Area (MUGA). This was shared with
school and had been the focus of our
fundraising for two years.
In response to requests from school, we
were able to provide funds for picnic
benches for the KS2 playground and sound
absorption panelling for the lunch hall. We
continued to meet our standing commitment
to school to pay half the cost of travel for the
whole-school trip to the beach at Margate in
summer, tickets to the pantomime in
December and the recurring Y4 theatre
workshop. These trips give all children
valuable experiences outside the classroom
