The trust8es present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024.
The accoLJnts have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in note 1 to the accounts
and comply wrth the Tnjst's tgoverning docurnent]. the Charities Act 2011 and the Statement of Recommended
Practi￿, "Accounting and Reporting by Charities" issued in March 2005.

The Trust was established by a tharitable trust deed on 18 November 2005.

The charity is managed and administered by the trustees. of which there shall be no more than 7.
The trustees are required to meet as necessary tmjt at least for times a year.
The trustees has assessed the major risks to which the Trust is exposed. and are satisfied that syslems are in
pla￿ to mitigate exposure to the major risks.
Objectives and adlvlties
The Twsl's objectives are to advance the Islamic faith within the Greater London by means of exclusive
charitable means from time to time. The policies adopted in furtherance of these objectives ar8 the relief of
poverty.. hardship and distress among members of Indian Muslim Communities by provision of financial or
material SUPF)Ort detemiined by trustees and there has been no change in these during the year.
Developments
Efforts are contsnuing to promote racial hamony within the community, by the conduct of lectures, me8tings.
seminars and similar functions to encourage understanding be￿￿en members of differ8nt faiths and races.
The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the
Trust should undertake.
The charity has made its hall available for the community acting as an important hub to the community.
Achievements and perfonnance
The charity has continued with its efforts to serve the communty in the besl way possible

The trustees are satisfied wsth the financial performance of the charity and the financial position at the year end.

TO THE TRUSTEES OF INDIAN MUSLIM TRUST
I report on the accounts of the Trust for the year ended 31 March 2024, which are set out on pages 4 to 7.
Respectlve responslbllltles of trustees and examlner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charty's trustees consider thal an
audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Aci 2011 (the 2011 Acil and that an
independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibilty to=
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act",
{ii) to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section
145(5)(b) of the 2011 Acl-, and
(iii) to state whether particular matters have come to our attention.
Basis of Independent examlnefs report
Our examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An
examination includes a review of the a¢¢ounting records kept by the charty and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts.
and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether
the accounts present a 'true and fair vieMI and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement
below.
Independent examlnerfs statement
In connection with our examination, no matter has come to our attention:
(a) which gives me reasonable cause to believe Ihat in any material respect the requirements..
(i) to keep accounting records in accordan￿ with section 130 of Ihe 2011 Act; and
(li) to pr8pare accounts which accord with the aGcounting records and comply wtih the accounting
requirements of the 2011 Act;
have not been met. or
{b) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.

Accounting policies
1.1 Basls of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical oist convents'on modified to include the revaluation of
rtain fixed assets.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards. the Statement of
Recommended Practice, "Accounting and Reporting by Charities" issued in March 2005 and the Charities
Act 2011.
1.2 Tanglble fixed assets and depreciation
Tangible fixed assets other than freehold land are stated at cost or valuation less depreaation. Depreciation
is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation less ests'mated residual value of each asset
over its expected useful life, as follows:
