UNITED SIKHS carried out its projects in 2024 in collaboration with
organisations of which we're a partner I member. These
organisations include:

British Transport Police
PARD (Intemational partnership on religion and sustainable
development)

Objectives and activities
The Charitys objects (the Objects) are:
1. The relief of people and communities who are suffering hardship
as a result of drought, earthquake, flood or any other di888ter or
who by reason of their social and economic conditions are in need
of assistance.
2. the relief of sickness, hardship and distress, particularly by the
development of education, health and other social services, the
irnprovement of transport infrastructure, water supplies and other
communal facilities and the promotion of sclf-help activities
amongst those people or communities;
3. the relief of poverty;
4. the advancement of education:
5. the advancement in lrfe of young people;
6. the promotion of diversty and equalty for the benefrt of the public
by promoting the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of
race, gender. sexualty. age, religion or ethnic origin by advancing
education in equality and diversity, promoting attitudes, customs
and pra&ices in favour of equalty by the use of publications.

In 2024, UNITED SIKHS intemational civil and human rights adV0￿cY
work supported the rights of Sikhs to wear Sikh arti'cles of faith.
UNITED SIKHS supported victims of discrimination. providing moral
support for the concemed individuals, awareness and advocacy.
UNITED SIKHS human development work provided scholarships for
school and university courses.

In 2024, UNITED SIKHS supported the rights of Sikhs to wear Sikh
articles of faith through awareness and advocacy.
UNITED SIKHS worked to provide awareness and advocacy to counter
hate I race crime.

In 2024, UNITED SIKHS provided various scholarships. A student in India
was provided a scholarship for her dents'stry course. Another Indian
student was provided a loan to complete a Computer-Aided Design
plumbing course.
UNITED SIKHS continued to pay the school and college fees of students
in Peshawar, Pakistan under the STARAE (Scholarships as a Tool to
Accelerate and Revive Academic Excellence) project.

In 2024, UNITED SIKHS launched a project to inform and educate the
Sikh communty via videos of interviews and presentations on various
topics relevant to the Sikh communty. A communications and advocacy
director was hired specifically to present these videos which were
broadcast via a YouTube channel.

Financial review
UNITED SIKHS maintains a primary reserve, for funding received on a
general non-restricted basis. In addition. a resetve is maintained for
projects which receive dedicated, restricted. funding.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (Ihe Trust.) for the year ended
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 ('the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention (other than that disclosed below ') in connection with
the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
