**Objects:** 1) TO PROMOTE RELIGIOUS HARMONY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN LEEDS AND ENVIRONS BY:- PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECT OF THE BELIEFS AND PRACTICES OF DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS FAITHS;- ADVANCING EDUCATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS BELIEFS INCLUDING AN AWARENESS OF THEIR DISTINCTIVE FEATURES AND THEIR COMMON GROUND TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERENT FAITHS AND TRADITIONS.2) TO PROMOTE GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY OF LEEDS AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, AND TO PROVIDE RELIEF FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND SOCIAL / OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF ITS RESIDENTS OF ALL AGES; AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED RESIDENTS TO PARTICIPATE FULLY IN THE LIFE OF THEIR COMMUNITY IN WAYS WHICH ADDRESS AND ALLEVIATE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE.

**Activities:** Our work is centred on bringing people together through their faiths and beliefs to share our commonalities and to respect the differences. It is an annual membership organisation open to faith groups  who agree with the aims and aspirations of our constitution.The forum works in partnership with various voluntary, community and faith sector organisations and with Leeds City Council.
