financial $latements and comply with th¢ Trust Deed dated 30 September 2005 ("the Trust Deed"), the Charities
Act 2011 ftnd the Staicment of Recommcndcd Practicc: applicable to charities preparing their accourtis in
accordance with the Financial Reporting Siandard applicable in the UK and Republic of Irelartd (FRS 102)
(Chariiies SORP FRS 1021 published in October 2019.

Alm of the Trust
The general aim of the charity is to award grants to inspiring sports programmes and initiatives which focus on
improving the lives of the disadvantaged and disabled.

SAM Sananeg Sportlng LegAey
The Sam Sananes Legacy way established in May 2017 and is fvnded through direct donations and fundraising
ev¢nt8. Jl 18 incorporated into the overall governance and activities of Boost Charitable Trust. Grants awarded out
of the Legacy funds are intended to have regard to Sam's own sporting interests and. where appropriate, his
hometown of L¢i¢ester.
Funds are raised mainly through donations, the annual St Bride's v Boost Golf Day and sponsored endurance
events. During the financial year, the Legacy fiinded six projects at a total value of £29.230.

The total value of 8W8rds granted was £201.373 {2024.. £204,157).
The total income re¢eivcd was £263,254 {2024.. £254,974).
A list of the larger awards granted {over £750) is shown on po8e 13.
Th¢ grants were distributed widely across a rang¢ of different gports, including two longstandin8
programmes in Eswatini.
The grants awarded lo the two programmes in Eswalini amount¢d to 90/0 of the total year's
funding. Th¢ r¢m&iuing 91010 was awarded to progrgmrn¢s in th¢ UK.
Boost focused its attention towards sports projects ihat focus on four spherts of disadvantage..

The Trust's reserves have increased by £98.025 from £1,388,770 at the beginning of the year to £1,486,795 at 30
S¢pl¢mb¢r 2025. Tb¢ Trust¢¢s are considering numerous new granls for the coming year And anticipate that while
rcscrves njay fluctuate from year to year. over time they will remain at a sufficient level to fund all projects.

going con¢¢m. With respect lo th¢ next rcportingperiod, 2025-26, the most significant aT¢as of uncertainty
that 8ffc¢ts the reserves of the Trnst is the level of invesiment r¢tyrns and the pcrformance of investment
rnarkets.

The charity has a Single expendable endowm¢Dt ¢r¢8t¢d by a lump surn donation of £lmillion. This
provides for thc Trustecs to invest the capital, th¢ in¢ome from which is to be wholly unrestricted. Th¢
cxpendable endowment is to bc uscd for the general purp05¢5 ofihe Trusi, namcly, to promote sporting
activiti¢s for dis8bled and disadvantaged Lhildren and adult5. The ternis of thc fund allow thc capital to
be spent if the Tntstees so detennine.
The charity has 8lso rcLeived donations which arc wholly unrestricted.
Incomlmg resources
All incoming resources Bre recognised on¢¢ the ¢harity has enliilemenl lo the resources, it can be certain
that the resoure¢s will b¢ re¢eived, and th¢ monetary value of the incomin8 resourees can be measured
with sufficient reliability.
Investmenl income is Tccogni5ed on a receivable basis.
