**Objects:** TO RELIEVE SICKNESS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM LIVER DISEASE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF:- COUNSELLING FOR THOSE SUFFERING FROM THE DISEASE, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS.- INFORMATION, EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PARTICULARLY THOSE INVOLVED IN THE DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND CARE OF THOSE INVOLVED IN THE DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND CARE OF THOSE SUFFERING LIVER DISEASE; AND- SUPPORT FOR RESEARCH INTO LIVER DISEASE AND THE PUBLISHING OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

**Activities:** The Children's Liver Fund supports children with liver disease through financial support for needy families in crisis, information and education for families, professionals and the public. Research into the causes of liver disease and how best to treat it.
