The charity, based on the site of the National Stud in Newmarket supports educational courses for those interested in pursuing a career in the equine industry. It also enables, through the medium of grant aid, public visits at the stud allowing the public to be educated in horse husbandry.

Objects: 3.1.1 The Advancement Of Education And Training Of Persons Especially The Youngto Prepare Them For Trades And Occupations In The Equine Industry And, Inparticular The Breeding Of Horses And Thereby Advance Them In Life; And/or3.1.2 The Advancement Of Education Through Public Access To The Educationalfacilities Offered By The National Stud Limited (Or Such Other Organisationproviding Similar Educational Facilities) Including But Not Limited To A Visitorseducation Centre Where The Public Can Learn About Horse Husbandry And Inparticular, The Breeding Of Horses And To Promote Through Education,humanity And Morality Among The Public In The Care And Consideration Ofhorses; And/or3.1.3 To Promote And Encourage Research Into The Breeding Use And Managementof Thoroughbred And Non-Thoroughbred Horses And Facilitate The Acquisitionand Distribution Of Such Knowledge; And/or3.1.4 Such Other Charitable Purposes Beneficial To The Community Consistent Withand Complementary To The Objects Above As The Trustees Shall In Theirabsolute Discretion Determine (The 'Objects').
