Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre

Treasurers Report for 2024-25 financial year

Firstly, | am pleased to say that we have again finished the year in a very strong financial position thanks to a record level of donations to the Centre.

| would like to thank the various organisations (both old and new) that have been kind enough to support us during the year with donations from; The Hanley Trust, Lewis Communications, HSBC, Tesco, Greetham Church, Piiton Church, Rutland Lions, Multum In Parvo Lodge, Amal’s work collection, the Batty book swap, the Clarke donation for Sunflowers, The Marion Elizabeth Trust who surprised us by donating again and the Captains at Luffenham Heath Golf Club who made us their charity of the year. Thanks are also due to the individuals who have put our name forward to these organisations. We could not do what we do without you.

| would also like to thank Jess and everyone eise responsibie for checking that bookings were paid for and the excellent job they have done with this.

The big financial change this year has been the welcoming back of the Sunflowers Group into RRFSC. Whilst this has increased our outgoings | expect these to be covered by the balances transferred to us and meeting contributions for several years.

| can confirm that the accounts have been independently examined as required by the Charity Commission by David Falconer who is a Chartered Management Accountant.

| would like to finish by thanking everyone again who has been involved with fundraising or donating to us, it makes my job a lot easier with money in the bank!

Anthony Aylward

Hon. Treasurer

In my opinion these accounts comply with the constitution and the records provided

Chairs Report AGM 25th June 2025

Thank you for attending and your support for the charity, which has been running for 26 years.

This organisation is a key part of the Special Educational Needs and Disability community of Rutland and the surrounding area. Our regular activities of swimming, riding and drumming support children and young people to have active lives, with regular holiday events to support the whole family. With Sunnies now under our banner and supporting the early years journey of those families negotiating through the challenges of a child with needs.

We have been incredibly lucky with our funders and supporters this year with the Luffenham Heath Golf Club donation being an amazing amount which we were totally surprised to receive, and we thank them for this support. We have also received the last funding from our long term funder The Marion Elizabeth Trust, again we thank them for this support over the years. This funding allows us to greatly subsidise the activities we offer to families, as well as covering the costs to run the charity. We could not do any of this without Jess Tyers our administrator, who manages the day to day running and support for our users, thank you Jess.

We are a small group of Trustees and management committee, many of whom have been involved since the charity's inception in 1999. It has become difficult to recruit new volunteers to be a part of our service, as the world gets busier for all. We will continue to canvas for new volunteers and hope to recruit some in the next 12 months.
