Chairman's Report
This has beena difficult year without our own base in London, but we have continued with the work God has called us to do nationally and internationally. A new opportunity to minister in Tanzania opened to us in October 2024 and we are grateful for the support of Bishop Kissi of Global Vision for Mission Church for their kind hospitality.
Our teaching programme has borne fruit in the lives of those earnest in their studies to serve with greater knowledge and experience. Teachers have supported the Apostle in teaching and gained much experience to enhance their studies and application for future teachings.
We have engaged Ecumenically with Churches Together in South London, the Ixthus Church Council, Churches Together in Clapham and the Church of England.
A large part of the year was given to the work required to purchase an old Chapel in West Norwood as our Headquarters in London. Despite all our efforts, we were gazzumped at the last minute and lost out after much dedicated work and prayer. We continue to look for our base in London.
On 8 March 2025 Apostle Donnett launched a six point strategy for the way forward for the Ministry. This was to empower members to use their gifts, talents and anointings together to realise what God now wants for the Ministry. Members were asked to select which strategy group(s) they wanted to be part of and to make a 100% commitment to that group. Early signs are that new ideas and work have been brought to the Leadership and we pray each Strategy group will continue to hear from God for their respective areas.
We do thank our Apostle Donnett for her continued leadership and the opportunities given to expand our service, teaching and commitment to what God has called each of us to do in His Name. We have continued to meet our Chairty objectives both in the Advancement of Christianity and giving relief and support to those in need.
It has been a good year in difficult circumstances and we will continue to serve God to the best of all our ability.
Rev Pastor Helen Smith
Objective 1- The Advancement of Christianity THE INSTITUTE FOR LIFE
The Institute For Life is an essential arm of Power of The Living Word Ministries. It was my introduction to the Ministry many years ago as my first involvement with this Ministry was as a student of the IFL.
This year the courses were: Homiletics - teaching on the preparation and presentation of sermons/preaching. Parables - understanding the truths within Jesus' parables. Visionary Leaders - teaching the essential need for vision by leaders and how to identify and develop vision.
Each of the courses has taken us to much greater depths of knowledge and understanding. | have not stopped attending IFL for the last 15 years, and have truly been impacted by the teaching | have received, some of which | have done twice over such as Homiletics and Visionary Leaders. | must add that | have benefited even greater the second time round because | am not where | was the last time | received the teaching. As with anything in life, things do change. However, the flexibility of my Apostle is that despite the fact | now live far away, she has permitted my wife and | to remain students of IFL via Zoom. This has been a real blessing to us because of where we are right now in our lives with the children and the distance. Whilst, nothing is better than physical presence at teaching, we have received so much via Zoom and do our best to actively participate in classes. IFL is a true sharpener of theology and intellect, and | can hand on heart say that | find the level of teaching here higher than the theological College | am currently attending.
IFL is truly fulfilling its unique goal of training and equipping its students with sound Biblical teachings, in preparation and furtherance of our ministries in the Kingdom.
Rev Chidi Umezurike
Testimony
IFL has helped me to go deeper with my understanding of theology. The teaching on homiletics has not only showed me that! can be studious when | put my mind to it but it has shown me how to improve my exhortation's as well as preaching the word of God. Homiletics teaching has developed in mea better ability to unfold God's truth.
The teachings of Jesus' parables are very commonly read by people but yet to many people it is a story. | have learnt that Jesus wants His followers to keep serving.
| am grateful that | have been able to graduate regardless of my circumstances. It has shown my ability that there is more in me that | can imagine. Having the support of others i have pushed through even while learning on zoom.
Thank you to Apostle and the support of the teachers in the class. | appreciate every input you have shared and continue to do so.
Mrs Tessa Umezurike

Wednesday evening teaching
These teachings are open to all people whether part of the Ministry, other Ministries and people with an interest in the Word of God.
This year the following subjects have been covered: Regeneration Managing Conflict Doctrine of God
| had the privilege to be both teacher and pupil for the duration.
To study and teach ‘Regeneration’ develops my further understanding of the subject to be able to teach others the importance of change, rebirth as a believer. And this is only possible by the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. When God created man and woman, we were created to embody the Spirit of God. God predestined that fallen beings would be regenerated. This is exciting news for all hearers. The teaching encouraged Bible interaction, open discussions of questions and answers. As the teacher, having my Teacher, Apostle Donnett in class was a plus. Her interjections and contributions were so helpful to me and to all in attendance. | grow so much from her wisdom and knowledge of the word.
Apostle Donnett taught Managing Conflict which was requested by a member of the congregation. What astounded us all in attendance was our tutor’s first statement ‘There will always be conflict. That's why we need to know how to manage conflict’. Every believer needs to sit under this teaching. We are all different. We all have different experiences. What we hear, even what we perceive. But God knows our hearts, our motives, our triggers. This is my second sitting under this subject and the teaching was relevant, punchy and made me again, address my response to criticism, my listening, forgetting the history | have had with a person when new issues arise. The class was engaging. With all responding and sharing. Moments of disagreements, moments of laughter, and moments of deep contemplation as each of us listened intently to the Apostle.
Apostle Donnett was the tutor for the study ‘Doctrine of God’. | quote ‘we cannot serve a God that we do not know. And we cannot know God and fail to serve Him’. The most important thing we can do as human beings is to know God and understand God, to do His will. As an Apostolic ministry doctrinal knowledge is essential. As part of our objectives, Doctrine of God is essential to develop Christian character and a safeguard against error. Apostle Donnett is a witness of God's truth and especially ‘accuracy’ of teaching and preaching God’s word. The ministry is in a time of refresher. All the Doctrine’s will be covered to all members and especially for new people to the ministry. This is very much a Bible based class, but the content was rich. For example, we learnt about attributes of God that God does not share or communicate and the attributes He does share. These are areas of study you would not find on a pulpit. | have sat under the Doctrines on many occasions but | can assure you every time | learn more and more.
Rev Pastor Pamela Dickenson
Objective 1- The Advancement of Christianity

On 27°" July 2024, we held an International Day in the garden, welcoming the community to
be with us. We invited Croydon Sickle Cell & Thalassemia Support Group to come and
speak about their work. We learned that many symptoms often go unnoticed by those
around sufferers and how sufferers cope on a daily basis.. We raised on the day £108 and
when they came to our service to thank us for the donation, we gavea further £50 for the
great work they are doing.

Testimonies
The God Loves You Tour was simply an amazing experience for me. | had no idea the size of the event until | arrived. Thousands of people were making their way to the auditorium from the station. We were met with joyful friendly volunteers who gave us wristbands before lining up to enter the venue.
As we walked in we were amazed at the size of the place. We found some good seats. The event opened with screen presentations and lights, and CeCe Winans came onto the stage and belted out her song. The cheers and mass worship was an awesome experience, thousands of like-minded people worshiping God.
The message was preached by Franklin Graham, the simple wonderful powerful message of the gospel, and thousands of young people responded to the altar call, volunteers were on hand to pray for people and counsel those who needed it! And they gave out free Bibles. | will be looking out for more events like this, as it is always nice to worship with so many believers in one accord.
Nakessa Simpson
| attended the Ixthus Conference with my Apostle and Very Reverend Alison among other members this year. We were met by a wonderful welcoming team who made sure we were comfortable. The service started with a worship team who led us into the presence of God with energetic praise and worship. It was my first conference with the Ixthus Church Council. It was a very inspiring event with words from the Lord that were so encouraging and impactful for the Kingdom of God. We were with other Bishops and clergy from other churches. It was so powerful to see our Apostle and Prophetess being used by God in the service to bring God’s word to His people. We spent the day there where we were fed a delicious lunch by the Deacons and other volunteers.
The service continued and we were further blessed by the Arch-Bishop Evangelou with a word of encouragement prophesying that indeed ‘The dry bones shall live!’
