教會工作報告 – 張松柏傳道

教會 2023 年的主題是「活出爱」，引自約翰一書 4:19 ：我們愛，因為神先愛我 們。神是愛，教會的本質是愛，作為神的兒女，在我們的日常生活中活出這個 本質。整個教會，包括廣東堂和華語堂的弟兄姊妹，使新來的朋友都感受到家 的溫暖，逐漸溶入這個愛的群體中。感謝神，在十月舉行的會員大會，共有十 八位來自廣東堂和華語堂已洗禮的弟兄姊妹加入教會成為會友，另外有五位廣 東堂的弟兄姊妹接受洗禮和願意加入教會，榮耀歸給在天上的父神，並求神帶 領他們在教會中參與不同的服侍，屬靈生命不斷成長。

四月七日舉行受難節聯合崇拜，聚會中透過詩歌思想主在十架的犧牲，信息分 享主怎樣面對孤單，提醒我們主是怎樣的愛我們，激勵我們活出主的愛。

五月七日迎來教會成立二十六週年堂慶聯合祟拜，主禮堂和副堂差不多坐滿， 神的恩典多而又多，教會經歷不同的階段，經歷主的愛，使教會不斷成長，實 踐主的愛，領更多人認識主。

七月十五日教會與一個在英國剛成立的「麥田」機構合辦教會司琴工作坊，培 訓司琴，共有十多位弟兄姊妹參加，有一半來自劍橋華人教會 ，另一半來自其 他教會，主內一家，讓這些參加者能更好的服侍神，榮歸主名。

十二月二十四日聖誕節崇拜分別在早堂和午堂舉行，記念主的誕生，主道成肉 身的愛，激勵我們活出祂的愛。

求主教導我們數算祂的恩典，引領教會和弟兄姊妹前行，在 2024 年延伸主愛， 把主的愛帶給更多的朋友。

Church overview – Pastor Matthew Cheung

The church’s theme for 2023 is “Living Love”, quoted from 1 John 4:19: We love because God first loved us. God is love, and the essence of the church is love. As children of God, we must live out love in our daily lives. The whole church, including all brothers and sisters in both Cantonese and Mandarin congregations, makes newcomers feel the warmth of home and gradually integrate into this loving family. Thank God, at the Members Meeting held in October, a total of 18 baptised brothers and sisters from Cantonese and Mandarin congregations joined the church as

members. In addition, five brothers and sisters from Cantonese congregation were baptised and willing to join the church. Glory to Father God in heaven, and pray that God will lead them to participate in different services in the church and continue to grow spiritually.

A joint Good Friday worship service was held on April 7. During the meeting, songs were sang to reflect on the Lord’s sacrifice on the cross. The message to share was ‘how the Lord faced loneliness’, reminded us how the Lord loves us, and inspired us to live out the Lord’s love.

The church commemorates the 26[th] anniversary of the founding of the church on May 7 with a joint worship service. The main hall and the side hall are almost full. God’s grace is abundant. The church has gone through different stages and experienced the love of the Lord, which has enabled the church to continue to grow, brothers and sisters live the Lord’s love and lead more people to come to know the Lord.

On July 15, the church co-organised a church pianist workshop with a newly established "Wheatfield Ministry" in the UK to train pianists. More than ten brothers and sisters participated, half from the Cambridge Chinese Church and the other half from other churches. As a family in the Lord, these participants could serve God better and glorify the Lord’s name.

The Christmas service on December 24[th] were held in the morning and afternoon respectively to commemorate the birth of the Lord and the incarnate love of the Lord, inspiring us to live out His love.

Pray the Lord to teach us to count His grace, lead the church and brothers and sisters to move forward, extend the Lord’s love in 2024, and bring the Lord’s love to more friends.

粵語部報告 – 葉子獻傳道

今年廣東話事工有兩個焦點 : (1) 凝聚 : 深化不同廣東話群體彼此之間的認識和交 流。 (2) 探索 : 一起發現見證福音的機遇。

自從 2021 年起 BNO VISA 政策的出現後，教會的廣東話群體持續地增長。弟兄姊 妹過往在香港有不同的教會生活，故如何能凝聚大家在一起，並一起建立這個 屬靈的家，成為廣東話事工的首要任務。教會在 5 月的 BANK HOLIDAY 舉行一次 大旅行，透過遊戲、詩歌敬拜及分享食物，讓來自不同年齡階段、接近 100 人 的群體彼此認識、交流 ; 此外，趁著 6 月的端午節，教會舉行「包糭工作坊」及 探訪訓練，讓新來英國的香港家庭藉探訪教會內的長者，促進彼此的交流 ; 因 著會眾散居在劍橋市中心以外不同的地方，按照地區的分佈，教會幫助會眾組 成地區小組，例如在 Cambourne 成立了一個約有 10 多位弟兄姊妹的小組，強化 弟兄姊妹在社區內的支援及團契生活。而在偏遠地區 Bury St Edmund’s ，教會支 援當地一個香港信徒群體，由第四季開始進行每月一次的查經聚會。

教會的使命之一，是傳揚福音，使萬民作主的門徒。在第一季，教會組成了 「信仰探索小組」，讓大約 10 位慕道、初信的朋友一起在信仰上成長 ; 在 10 月， 教會舉行了疫情後第一次洗禮，感恩有 5 位弟兄姊妹樂意藉洗禮加入教會。在 9 月初的「差傳主日」後，教會舉行了為期 4 次聚會的「差傳主日學」，藉著專 題影片的播放、小組討論，培育弟兄姊妹關心差傳的心志。感恩在這課程後， 有 6 位弟兄姊妹委身參與隔月舉行一次的「差關同行小組」，定期為教會支持 的宣教士祈禱。

回顧 2023 年，面對成長中的廣東話群體，廣東話事工處於開墾的階段，既探索 弟兄姊妹屬靈生命的需要及開設相應的事工，同時也裝備弟兄姊妹在合適的崗 位上服侍。期盼未來能動員弟兄姊妹在教會一些恆常事工上服侍，按恩賜建立 教會。

Cantonese Ministry – Pastor Samuel Ip

In 2023, Cantonese Ministry has two focuses: (1) Gather: To deepen mutual understanding and communication among Cantonese congregation. (2) Explore: To discover opportunities to share the gospel.

Since the emergence of the ‘BNO Visa policy’ in 2021, the church's Cantonese congregation has continued to grow. Brothers and sisters used to have different church lives in Hong Kong, so how to unite everyone and nurture their sense of

belonging to our church has become the utmost important task of Cantonese Ministry. The church held an outing on a Bank Holiday in May, around 100 people from different age groups had chances to get to know each other through games, worship and food-sharing ; In addition, during the ‘Dragon Boat Festival’ in June, the church organised a "Dumpling-making workshop" and "Visiting Training" to allow newly arrived Hong Kong families to visit the elders in the church, in order to promote the communication among them. Because the congregation is scattered in different places outside Cambridge, the church helps the congregation to form regional groups according to their living districts. For example, a group of around 10 brothers and sisters was established in Cambourne, in order to strengthen the support and fellowship life of brothers and sisters in the community. In the remoted area, Bury St Edmund’s, the church supports a local group of Hong Kong believers and holds monthly Bible study meetings starting from the fourth quarter.

One of the missions of the church is to preach the gospel and make disciples among all nations. In the first quarter, the church formed a "Faith Exploration Group" to allow around 10 new participants to grow in faith together; In October, the church held her first baptism ceremony after the epidemic, it was grateful that 5 brothers and sisters are willing to join the church through baptism. After the "Missionary Sunday" in early September, the church held a "Missionary Sunday School" that lasted four meetings. Through viewing thematic videos and group discussions, brothers and sisters were cultivated to care about the missionary. It is grateful that after this course, 6 brothers and sisters committed themselves to participate in the "Missionary Fellowship" held every other month to pray regularly for the missionary worker supported by our church.

Looking back in 2023, facing the growth of Cantonese congregation, Cantonese Ministry is in the stage of development. Apart from exploring the needs of spiritual life of brothers and sisters and establishing corresponding ministries, the church also equipped brothers and sisters to serve in appropriate positions. We are looking forward to mobilising brothers and sisters to serve in some regular ministries of the church and to establish the church according to their gifts in the future.

華語部報告 – 莊仰明牧師

「感謝神，因祂有說不盡的恩賜！」（哥林多後書 9:15 ）

隨著「後疫情時代」的開始，華語部靠著神的恩典也進入了新的階段。 2023 年 我們的各團契 / 小組逐漸由疫情間期的「線上模式」轉為「實體聚會與線上相結 合的模式」，讓眾弟兄姊妹在各自不同的實際處境與需要中得著屬靈的牧養。 回顧這一年華語部的整體發展，細算主恩實在說不盡，伴隨著實體聚會、團契、 活動的增多，我們一起經歷了：「華語堂感恩聚會」、「農曆新年團圓聚餐」、 「受苦節聯合崇拜」、「華語福音聚會」、「提摩太團契·信仰與科學·專題講 座」、「 26 週年堂慶聯合崇拜」、「生日會」、「敬拜小組培訓」、「 bank holiday 團契外出聯誼活動」、「中秋聚會」、「華語福音主日」、「音樂·話劇· 聖誕主日」等，以及恢復了久違的每主日崇拜後的「茶聚時光」。實體聚會與 活動的增加，拉近了因疫情期間的「空間隔離」所帶來的弟兄姊妹之間的「疏 離感」，重新恢復了主愛大家庭的凝聚力，讓更多的弟兄姊妹在每一次的實體 相聚中，生命彼此建造、在愛中相互扶持、同行與服侍。「小子們哪，我們相 愛，不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上。」 ( 約翰一書 3:18) 與此同 時，我們也很開心地見到在不同的實體活動或聚會中，不間斷地有新朋友或福 音朋友的到來，藉著彼此建立關係，將福音與他們分享。感謝神的保守與帶領， 華語部各團契 / 小組 / 事工的開展及成長，離不開神親自興起祂的兒女們同心合 一的委身服侍，從中我們也組建了「華語部核心同工團隊」，一起計劃、籌備 與商討華語部全年的發展。滿心感恩讚美神！

普通話家庭組

由疫情期間的「線上查經」轉為每月的第二、四週的週六晚「一次實體、一次 線上」的查經聚會，弟兄姊妹持續專卷查經《以賽亞書》，靈命不斷地在神的 話語中成長。在暑期中，也組織大家外出活動「遊覽莊園、野餐」等。特別在 疫情期間，在已有每週一晚的華語部禱告會之外，由普通話家庭組的同工們新 建立了每週一至五的「晨禱祭壇」，一直延續至今，並人數不斷增長，為教會、 國家、家庭、下一代的信仰傳承、及有需要的肢體等，不住地禱告守望，帶出 莫大的屬靈祝福。

約瑟幼兒家庭組

同樣的，由疫情期間的單一「線上查經」模式，轉變為每月第一、三週的「一 次線上查經、一次實體團契活動」，孩童們在豐富的活動中（如：球類運動、 採草莓、划船、露營、桌遊、聚餐等），孩童與孩童之間、孩童與父母之間、 以及不同家庭之間，都建立起美好的關係。更感恩的是，每一次的實體活動， 約瑟組的不同家庭都很願意邀請新的「福音朋友的家庭」來參加，並在一次次 的團契相聚中分享與經歷主的愛。

提摩太團契

度過了一段難忘的經歷，由疫情期間的每週四晚的「線上查經」幾乎接觸不到 「新朋友」，到後疫情階段轉為每月第一、三週的週四晚「線上查經」，以及 第二、四週的週四晚的實體「科學 & 信仰·專題講座」，在提摩太團契眾同工的 共同努力下，從劍橋大學與 ARU 的「迎新事工」做起（如：新生遊劍橋、到市 中心張貼宣傳海報等），也很感恩可以邀請到來自英國不同大學 / 機構的基督徒 的教授、講師們在我們中間，憑著愛主的心、奉獻的心、無償地為我們帶來精 彩的講座分享（如：聖經考古與世界遺產、基督教信仰的邏輯性、為進化論辯 護、人定勝天嗎、上帝和科學互相矛盾嗎、聖經的預言與地球科學的發展等）。 不僅如此，在每次的講座前，大家都可以一起享用同工們及弟兄姊妹所預備的 「愛心晚餐」，使參與者的身體與心靈都得飽足。更感謝神讓越來越多的在劍 橋的學生、學者們願意來到團契中，能夠有機會得聽福音與信仰的信息。

關懷組

華語部關懷組是在 2023 年新開展的「關懷事工」，從開始至今，牧者與同工團 隊主要透過實體探訪在劍橋本地的肢體，並以線上 Zoom 或信息及電聯的方式， 關心、分享與代禱已回中國大陸的肢體。同時，也特別跟進與關懷每主日崇拜 來的新朋友，以及每一次的福音聚會或福音主日的新朋友。讓更多的人在教會 的大家庭中，感受到「關懷與被關懷」的愛的溫暖。

詩班

同樣於 2023 年新成立的華語部詩班，蒙神特別的帶領，成立至今，詩班人數不 斷增加，並在每主日華語堂崇拜後都有恆常的練唱時間，且每一次都能夠感受 到大家對詩班服侍的用心投入，以及在詩歌讚美中的喜樂。詩班除了兩個月一 次在華語堂的聖餐主日崇拜中有獻唱事奉外，也尤為感恩在過去一年的教會聯 合崇拜中（如：受苦節、堂慶等）有多次的獻唱服侍，同心用詩歌頌讚歸榮耀 給神。

願主我們神的榮美歸於我們身上。願祢堅立我們手所做的工；我們手所做的工， 願祢堅立。 ( 詩篇 90:17) 甚願華語部眾弟兄姊妹所有一切的事奉擺上，無論在台 前的不同服侍崗位亦或在幕後默默無聞地預備「愛心美食」的支持，都回應教 會 2023 年的主題：「活出愛」。更願未來新的一年，求神恩上加恩、力上加力 給華語部，更好地延伸主愛，榮神益人。

Mandarin Ministry – Reverand Paul Zhuang

"Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!" (2 Corinthians 9:15) —- As it is now the "post-pandemic era," the Mandarin Ministry has, by God's grace, entered a new

phase. In 2023, our fellowships and groups gradually transitioned from the "online mode" to the “hybrid" one, combining in-person and online meetings, providing spiritual nourishment for brothers and sisters to meet their various needs. Reflecting over the past year, we found countless blessings with the increasing in-person gatherings, such as, the "Mandarin Thanksgiving Gathering," "Lunar New Year Reunion Dinner," "Good Friday Joint Service," "Mandarin Evangelistic Meetings,” "26[th] Anniversary Joint Service," "Worship Team Training," "Bank Holiday Fellowship Outing," "Mid-Autumn Festival Gathering," "Mandarin Evangelistic Sunday," and "Music, Drama, and Christmas Sunday,” and so forth. The long-awaited "Tea Time" after each Sunday service has been resumed. The "gap of estrangement" caused by "spatial isolation" during the pandemic was thus restored. Each in-person gathering enabled brothers and sisters to build and support each other, walking and serving together —- “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." (1 John 3:18) Meanwhile, we were delighted to see new friends and gospel friends continuously joining us. We thank God for His guidance. We also established the "Mandarin Ministry Core Team," planning, preparing, and discussing the ministry's annual development together. The abundant growth of various fellowships, groups, and ministries are inseparable from God's Providence. We wholeheartedly thank and praise God!

Mandarin Family Group

From the "online mode" during the pandemic to the “hybrid” afterwards, we met both virtually and in-person, interchangeably on the second and fourth Saturday evenings of each month. Brothers and sisters studied the Book of Isaiah, growing spiritually in God's word. We organised Summer outdoor activities, such as outings and picnics. In addition, the Mandarin Family Group coworkers established "Morning Prayer Altar" running from Monday to Friday; brothers and sisters have continuously prayed for the church, the nation, families, the next generation's faith heritage, and those in need, bringing immense spiritual blessings.

Joseph Family Group

Members met for online Bible study on the first weeks of each month, and for monthly in-person activities on the third, such as, ball games, strawberry picking, punting, camping, board games, and so forth. We built wonderful relationships among children, children and parents, and among families. We were especially grateful that new gospel friends participated in our outings, sharing and experiencing the love of Christ together.

Timothy Fellowship

During the pandemic, we could hardly invite any new friends to our online Bible study. With the “hybrid" mode: on-line (first and third Thursdays) and in-person (second

and fourth Thursdays), the number of new members has increased significantly. With the joint efforts of coworkers, we ran the “Welcome Event" at the University and ARU. We were grateful that many Christian fellow professors and lecturers from universities/institutions in the UK shared with us their love for the Lord, bringing wonderful topics about our faith. Last but not least, during each in-person meeting, free meals prepared by coworkers and brothers and sisters were provided, filling both body and soul. We thank God for more and more students and scholars in Cambridge willing to join the fellowship, embracing the opportunity to hear the gospel and messages of faith.

Care Group

Newly launched since 2023, pastors and coworkers have visited local members in Cambridge, in person or virtually, by phone calls and through prayers, for those who have returned to the mainland China. We also focused on new friends coming to Sunday services and those attending each evangelistic meeting. We aimed at letting more people feel the warmth of being part of the church family.

Choir

Newly established in 2023 under God’s special guidance, the Mandarin Ministry Choir has seen a continuous increase in members. We had regular practice sessions; each member was dedicated and joyful. In addition to serving during the bi-monthly Holy Communion services, we were particularly grateful for multiple opportunities to present our praise for God in joint services and several occasions in the past year, glorifying God together.

"May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us — yes, establish the work of our hands." (Psalm 90:17) - We sincerely hope that all the services offered by brothers and sisters in the Mandarin Ministry, be it on the stage or behind the scenes, respond to our 2023 theme: "Live Out Love." We also hope that God will continuously grant the Mandarin Ministry grace and strength, extending His love further. Let us glorify God, benefiting people.

兒童事工 - 劉孫芳芳姊妹

1. 兒童主日學 一月至八月 早上 - 和平班 - 幼兒 - 小二， 出席學生每周約 5 人。由 4-5 位老師負責教導小孩子。 望班 - 小四至小六， 出席學生每周約 6 至 8 人， 由 3-4 位老師負責教導小孩子。 信班 : 小六至初中 - 出席學生每周約 11-13 人，由 2 位老師負責教導小孩子。 下午 - 喜樂班 : 小三至小四 , 出席學生每周約 4 至 5 人。 3 位老師負責教導小孩子。 愛班 : 小五至中一， 出席學生每周約 6 至 7 人。 3 位老師負責教導小孩子。 九月至十二月 恩慈班 : 九月成立幼兒班 , 出席學生每周約 3 人。 2 位老師負責教導小孩子。 信班 : 十二月新增教師人手，預備信班於 2024 年 1 月轉形成為青少年組。
