TO GENERATE FUNDS TO PROVIDE A FREE BONFIRE AND FIREWORK DISPLAY FOR THE ENTIRE VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREA, AND TO PROVIDE A CHRISTMAS TREE AND CRIB FOR DISPLAY IN THE CENTRE OF THE VILLAGE. THE LIGHTING OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE IS AT AN OPEN AIR CAROL SERVICE WITH MUSIC PROVIDED BY LOCAL MUSICIANS AND SCHOOLS. THERE IS A VISIT FROM FATHER CHRISTMAS WHERE EACH CHILD IS GIVEN A SMALL GIFT.
Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Sabden, Lancashire And The Surrounding Area Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race And Political Religious And Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.
