It is Mombasa’s main municipal<br>dump site.|

We have begun giving both<br>Computer and Tailoring classes with a plan<br>to open up employment opportunities for<br>them. To share the love of Jesus with the<br>children by showing them love and respect<br>alongside the practical care they receive.<br>**Foster Family Home**<br>A foster family home where 12 chidren live<br>with foster parents who love and care for<br>them,the children attend school.<br>**Joseph Centre for Children.**<br>A centre for over100 children whose parents<br>live on or survive from the main garbage<br>site. The centre is open for children from the<br>age of 2 years upwards who are unable to<br>attend school due to lack of school fees etc.<br>The centre provides learning activities for the<br>children to enable them to become literate<br>and numerate. The children learn to play and<br>have fun, increasing their social skills and<br>cognitive development. The centre also<br>helps with medical care for the children. The<br>charity currently pays for 43 children from<br>the centre to attend primary school and is<br>funding 2  children to attend boarding High<br>School.|

Several Stepping Stones<br>children have been invited to live in<br>various children’s homes and are<br>now attending school. Several<br>children’s homes visit the centre<br>when they have vacancies in their<br>home to offer places to the children||

|Twelve street children have left street life|
|and now live with foster parents in the foster|
|family home. The foster parents love and|
|nurture the children who are able to attend|
|school and live their lives in a safe and|
|loving environment .Having had one boy|
|complete his degree in Mechanical|
|Engineering, he is now employed as a|
|mechanical engineer in Finland, we have|
|had another boy just finished his3rd year at|
|Teacher training College, he is now working|
|as a teacher at a primary school in|
|Mombasa.|
|All the others boys are in school and|
|progressing well in their Academic|
|Studies.Their personal development|
|goes from strength to strength and|
|combined with their academic|
|achievements they are radically|
|changed boys, who have used the|
|opportunity given them extremely well,|
