The trustees present their ￿port and the financial statements for the year ended 16 December 2025.
Objectives and Activities
Aims and Objectivès
The principal aims and obiedives of the charity are to to provide Care, $upport and $upetvison to the residents
of the charity's hostel and lo encourage a healthy lifestyle. To monitor their medication and lo provide
counselling where appropriate.

Maln Achlevemonts
Homeless people over the age of eighteen are provided V￿th accommodats'on.
The residents receive care. 5UPPOrt and supervison while they are resident wthin the charity's hostel. The
charity also operates a follow up seryice for those iesthnls who have left.

The organisation is a charitable company limited by guarantee. incorporated on 17th December 2004 and
registered as a charity on 7th September 2005. In the event of the company being wound up, the members
are required to contribute an amount not exceeding £ 1.
Trustsa Sg18ctlon Methods
The directors of the company are also charity trustee5 for the Purposes of charity law. The current trustees
are well versed in the aims and objectives of the charty. The trustees receive ongoing training provided by an
external training officer.

As the charity trustees of the Company land also rts directors for the purposes of company lawl, you are
responsible for the preparation of the accounls in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006
I'the 2006 Act l.
Having satssfied myself that the accounts of the Company are not required to be audited under Part 16 of the
2006 Act and are eligible for independent examinabon, I report in respect of my examination of your charity's
accounts as carried out under section 145 of the Charitie5 Act 2011 I'lhe 2011 Act'l. In carrying out my
examination I have followed the Directs'ons given by the Charity Commission under section 145151 Ibl of the
2011 Act.

I have completed my examination. I confim that no matters have come lo my attention in connection wth the
examination giving me cause to believe..
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Company as required by sects'on 386 of the 2006 Act..

2. the accounts do not accord wth those records., or
3. the accounts do not comply wlh the accounting requirements of section 396 of the 2006 Act other than

The Moorings Trust is a company limrted by guarantee, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number

2.1. Basis of Prèparation of Financial Statsmènts
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance the Charities SORP IFRS 1021
"Accounting and Reporting by Charib"es." Slalemenl of Recommended Pradice applicable lo charities
preparing their accounts in accordance vJith the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 leffective 1 January 20191" Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The
Financial Reporting Slandar¢J applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.
The charitable company is a Public Benefit Entty as defined by FRS 102.

A¢¢ounling e$ts'mates and assumptions are made con¢eming the fijlure and, by their nature, will rarely
equal the related actual outcome. There are no key a55umplions and other sources tsf e51imalion

and liabilities within the next financial year.
