**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

All of our sections have run an exciting programme of activities for the young people. The highlight of the year was a two week expedition to Norway for the Scout and Explorer sections. Over 40 people took part and all had a fantastic experience. Some of our members have also been selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. We are supporting them with the fundraising and preparation for the trip.

Our membership remains strong with a waiting list for all sections. We continue to recruit more volunteer leaders. Leaders have continued to develop their skills with a range of training courses undertaken including hill walking, canoeing and kayaking.
