The Iruslee5 who are also directors present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31
March 2025.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Ihe accounting policies set out in note 1 to the
financial statements and comply with the charity's governing document. the Companies Act 2006. FRS 102 "The
Financial Reporting Standard applicable In the UK and Republic of Ireland. and the Charities SORP "A£counting
and Reporting by Charities". Stalemenl of Recornmended Practice appSicable to charities preparing their accounts In
accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021.
Objectives and activities
The charity's principal activity is to relieve and rehabilitate those suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
(OCD) and OCD Spectrum Disorder IOCDSOI and to advance the education of the public. In particular. bul not
exclusively by increasing awarenes5 of OCD and OCDSD in order to improve diagnosis and treatment of the
di50rder.
The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the
charity should undertake.
Achievements and performance
Significant activities and achievements against objectives
The charity has organised a number of well atténded events during thè year which which further it5 primary
objective of educating the public and increasing awareness in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of OCD
and OCDSD.
ICOCS-OCRN 2024 NEW YORK MEETING
This event showcased advances in OCD and OCSD treatments. presented by leading experts. It supported
ICOCS'S goal of disseminating cutting-edge research and best practices lo improve individual health outcomes. By
fostering discussion among professionals, il contributed lo the ICOCS'S aims of facililaling collaboration and
increasing public health awareness. The meeting was attended by 81 virtual and around 30 in person attendees.
ECNP-OCRN-ICOCS TRAINING MASTERCLASS
This irstensive 5-day Training Masterclas5 provided earty career professionals with in-depth knowledge on QCDI
OCSDS. covering neurobiology, diagnosis, interventions, and more. It supported the ICOCS'S objectives of fostenng
education and professional development, while promoling international knowledge exchange and clinical
collaboration. 228 Individuals participated in the meeting Iln-person attendance, 39122 attendees + 11 international
fa¢ulty + 6 Ioc81 faculty). Webinar attendance.. 1891169 participants + 20 faculty)
ECNP-OCRN-ICOCS 20TH ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING
This hybrid meeting explored novel topics such as immunological mechanisms and treatment resistance in OCD. It
embodied the ICOCS'S commilmenl lo innovative research, international collaboration, and global dissemination of
scientific findings lo enhance clinical practice. The meeting had 54 registered attendees, including 39 attending in
person.
ICOCS MEETING AT THE ACNP
This hybrid session focused on early OCD risk identification and collaborative funding efforts. It aligned with the
ICOCS'S objectives lo influence policy. support research innovation, and promote dialogue with stakeholders on
global service provision and resource allocation for OCD. The meeling was welkreceived by the 15 in person
attendees and featured a hybrid format with engaging discussions on potential ne￿Ork projects and grant funding.

MEMBERSHIP
The charity receives subscription income from both individual and corporate members. The success of the events
run in the year to 31 March 2025 has led to an increase In the awareness of the charity which has resulted In an
upsurge in members who benefit from the events run by the charily and contribule lo the charity's primary
objectives.
In the year lo 31 March 2025 the charity had 53 Individual members which is an increase of 22 from the 31
members of the charity in the previous year.
The charity also has two corporate members and secured a long temi (three yearl membership agreement for
new corporate member in the year.
Financial review
Reserves policy
It is the policy of the charity that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be
maintained at a level equivalent lo bel￿een one and two year's expenditure. The trustees consider that reserves at
this level will ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able lo continue the chanty's
current activities while consideration is given to ways in which additional fijnds may be raised. This level of reserves
has been maintained throughout the year.
The trustees are aware that the charity's reserves are currently in excess of the level of funds required under the
reserve policy. As a result, they are currently undergoing a review of upcoming charitable activities in order to make
use of this excess in line with its charitable obieclives.
Structure. governancè and management
The charity is a company limited by guarantee.
In addition to an Annual General Meeting. the board meets regularly throughout the year in order to discuss charity's
slalus. In the year ended 31 March 2025 the board met seven times and minutes were taken at all meetings.

The trustees, who are also the directors of International College of Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Dlsofders for
the purpose of company law, are responsible for preparing the Trustee's Report and the financial slalemenls in
accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted
Accounting Practice)
Company law requires the trustees lo prepare financial statements for e3ch financial year which give a true and fair
view of the stale of affairs of the charily and of the incoming resources and application of resource5, Including the
income and expenditure, of the charitable company for that year.
In preparing these financial slatemenls, the trustees are required to..
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.,
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP.,
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent", and
prepare the financial ststements on the going concern basis unless il is inappropriate to presume that the charity
will continue in operation.
The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at
any lime the financial position of the charity and enable them lo ensure that Ihe financial statemen Is comply with Ihe
Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking

preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006.

the Companies AGI 2006 and are eligible for independent examination. I report in respect of my examination of the
charity's financial statements carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 . In carrying out my examination

Accounting policies
Charity information
International College of Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Disorder is a private company limited by guarantee
incorporated in England and Wales The registered office is Suite 5. 315 Regents Park Road, London, N3
1DP.
1.1 Accounling conventlon
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the charity's governing document, the
Companies Act 2006, FRS 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland" and the Charities SORP "Accounting and Reporting by Charities. Statement of Recommended
Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 1021. The charity is a Public 8enefil Enlily as defined by
FRS 102.
The charity has taken advantage of the provisions in the SORP for charities not to prepare a stat￿ent of
cash flows.
The financial slalements are prepared in sterling. which is the functional currency of the charity. Monetary
amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost ¢onvention. The pnncipal accounting
policies adopted are sel out below.
1.2 Golng concern
At the lime of approving the financial statements, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity
has aéequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the IrLL8tees
continue lo adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial slalements.
1.3 Charltable funds
Unreslricled fund5 are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of their chantable
obiectives.
R8slricted funds are subject lo specific conditions by donors or grantors as to how they may be used, The
purposes and uses of the restricted funds are set out in the notes lo the financial statements.
Endowment funds are subject to specifiG conditions by donors that the capital musl be maintained by the
charity.
1.4 Income
Income is recognised when the charity is legally enlilled lo il after any performance conditions have been met,
the amounts can be measured reliably, and il is probable that income will be received.
Cash donations are recognised on receipt. Other donations are recognised once the charity has been notified
of the donation, unless performan￿ conditions require deferral of the amount.
Legacies are recognised on receipt or otherwise if the charity has been notified of an impending distribution,
the amount is known, and receipt is expected. If the amount is not known, the legacy is treated as a
contingent asset.

1.5 Expenditure
Expenditure is recognised once there is a legal or constructive obligation to transfer economic benefit lo a
third party, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required In settlement, and Ihe amount of
the obligation can be measured reliably.
Expenditure is classified by activity. The costs of each activity are made up of the total of dir￿ costs and
shared costs, including support costs involved in Ltndertaking each aclivily. Direct costs attributable lo a single
activity are allocated directly lo that activity. Shared costs which contribute to more than one activity and
support costs which are not attributable to a single activity are apportioned between those activities on a basis
consistent with the use of resources. Central staff costs are allocated on the basis of lime spent, and
depreciation charges are allocated on the portion of the asset's use.
1.6 Cash and cash equivalents
Cash and cash equivalents Include cash in hand.
1.7 Financial instruments
The charity has elected to apply the provisions of Section 11 'Basic Financial Inslrumen15' of FRS 102 to all of
its financial instruments.
Financial instruments are recognised in the charity's balance sheet when the charity becomes party to the
contractual provisions of the instrument.
Financial assets and liabilities are offset. with the nel amounts presented in the financial statements. when
there is a legally enforceable right to sel off the recognised amounts and there is an intention to settle on a net
basis or to realise the asset and settle the liability simultaneously.
Basic financial assets
Basic financial assets, which include debtors and cash and bank balances, are initially measured at
transaction price including transaction costs and are SLJbsequenlly carried at amortised cost using the effective
interest method unless the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction, where the transaction is
measured al the present value of the future receipts discotjnted at a market rate of interest. Financial assets
classified as receivable within one year are not amortised.
8asic financial liabilities
Basic financial liabilities, including creditors and bank loans are initially recognised at transaction price unless
the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction, where the debt instrument is measured at the present
value of the future payments discounted at a market rate of interest. Financial liabilities classified as payable
within one year are not amortised.
Debt instruments are subsequently carried at amortised cost, using the effective interest rale method.
Derecognition of financial liabilities
Financial liabilities are derecognised when the charity's contractual obligations expire or are discharged or
canGelle¢J.
1.8 Foreign exchange
Transaction5 in currencies other than pounds sterling are recorded at the rates of exchange prevailing al the
dales of the transactions. At each reporting end date, monetary assets and liabilities that are denominated in
foreign currencies are retranslated at the rates prevailing on the reporting end date. Gains and losses arising
on translation in the period are included in profit or loss.
