**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION WITHIN THE AREA OF NORTH DEVON DISTRICT COUNCIL, HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS, IN PARTICULAR SHEEP, BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR ANIMALS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL TREATMENT AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMALS WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.

**Activities:** Fleecehaven promotes humane behaviour towards animals, in particular sheep, by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of care, and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill treatment.  It also educates the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.
