ACTIVITIES
All church leaders of AWMUK have quarterly retreat sessions organised for pastors and leaders to equip then on leadership and other church growth strategies and skills.
Last year’s International conference was led by AWMUK- ZTCC Bradford Branch and was held in October 2024 on and was broadcasted live on many different Social media platforms.
AGM was held December 2024 on line.
AWM Manchester distributed food and drinks to vulnerable members and to other hard to reach people within the community.
AWM Bradford successfully organised 3 days of international conference (26- 28 October 2024)
AWMUK baptised 30 people in 2024 across the different Branches of ZTCC in UK and many more were born again by receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
AWM Coventry has started to serve Breakfast to destitute local residents every Saturday morning as a way of reaching out in evangelism.
Weekly activities are run by each branch individually every week such as cell groups/ A12 meetings , department meetings or practices, Sunday services, Baptism, Holy Communion, bible studies, Baby/Bridal showers, Church Wedding celebrations, family support activities, funeral assistance, pastoral care etc.
This year 2025 AWM UK had visiting Pastors from abroad who held meetings in all branches across the UK. Each branch took part in organising conferences with guest speakers at their local level: Conference on Families and Harmony in the life of Married couples. Youths Worship Event, Family Activity Event, Single Mothers prayer Event. There is also another conference which is coming up in July for the Youth. The Church
grew in members and has therefore invested in Online broadcasting of the Church services.
All ZTCC branches have women’s prayers every and are now reaching out to young Women and girls by encouraging them to participate and get involved in the discussion around different aspects of women’s life and wellbeing.
The church holds prayer meetings online for youth, women and men separately on a weekly basis.
Intercession prayers online every day Monday- Sun at 6am for all members.
Achievements
Year 2025 the Church has increased in number, and the activities of the Church have widened to include all social groups even those who are difficult to reach out i.e the homeless. We continue to offer alternative ways of getting involved including holding bible studies online or organising online meetings for students who are at Uni away from home. However most of our Church activities and meetings are organised face to face. The Church attendance has also increased and our Sunday services are also an opportunity for most members to get together for prayer and worship as well as Agape – Fellowship and sharing of snacks after Church service.
Activities in local parishes are now back to normal timetable and in some of the branches, we are back to 2 or 3 Church services on Sunday.
In October 2024, Authentic Word Ministries ZTCC held a Conference in Bradford for 3 days where we saw people receiving the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, we also had an Ordination of 1 Pastor who is now the Senior Pastor in the Bradford branch.
In November 2024, the branch of ZTCC Birmingham was opened officially and is now running church activities as part of the AWM UK.
In Coventry youth bible study meetings have resumed and are run fortnightly. Men’s group meets once a month.
The AWMUK has a women’s monthly event called “Iron Sharpens Iron” which is held online. This is a platform led by women and for women where we discuss matters concerning women’s health, education, raising children, taking care of their families, self- help skills and any other topic which they wish to discuss about as they feel it would benefit them. Sometimes we have guests speakers who come to talk to women on different life related topics.
All ZTCC meet weekly in face -to- face activities although we also hold lots of activities online as well to make it convenient and accessible to more people, even those who are outside the UK.
Other Zion Temple Celebration Centres are working toward the restructuring of the Charity so that each Branch of ZTCC can register as a Charity at the local level. This
proposal is still being discussed and will be presented to the Charity AGM this year for all members to have a say on the proposal.
We are continuing to work toward making mandatory trainings available to all volunteers and leaders of departments in our Charity: First Aid and Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Safeguarding.
CHALLENGES .
Financial :
Because the church’s source of income is via the funds raised through people donations and free contribution, we face financial hardship due to increase in inflation, the cost of living and financial strain on many people’s finances. Also our Church does take part in any activities for profit and does not have any incomes generated through sales of any products.
The Charity is currently limited in what activities to run due to lack of funds and resources. We have plans and projects to support more people especially the youth in our communities but this requires funding and volunteers to support in such activities.
FUTURE PLANS :
Choosing more Trustees for the Charity to oversee the work of the Charity especially in the new branches( Birmingham And Manchester - Bury)
Pastors who were ordained 2 years ago have now entered new roles and new responsibilities in the areas where their input was needed. Therefore, there is a plan to expand existing activities to much wider groups of people, organise teaching sessions with the different groups in Church; Women, Men, Youth and Children.
To improve more on church activities 2024-2025 especially in reaching out the disadvantaged groups in communities through charitable work, evangelism, conferences and workshops where they can get together to learn on different topics on matters concerning their lives and biblical based teachings.
To try apply for government funding for our charity as well as other funding from public and private funders of charity work.
Volunteers . We would like to thank all the members and volunteers who work so hard to make our church spiritually and socially strong despite the challenges we went through this year.
We also thank different servants of God who worked tirelessly to run church activities in face to face meetings as well as online in order to continue strengthen the Church and maintain growth despite the financial challenges and other difficulties we have encountered this year.
