Section C Ob'ectives and activities Awaaz (voice of women) is a women empowerment organisation where we help and support women of all ages and ethnicity. Our aim is to empower them and enable them to be confident and lead an integrated life where they can have a positive attitude towards life. We work with women who suffer from illnesses. disabilities, isolation, and depression and have been exposed to domestic abuse and domestic violence. We encourage and enable them to be part of the community and give positive contribution. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document Awaaz offers free servi5 to all women regardless of age or ethnicity. We provide them a weekly session where they come for yoga. exercise, lunch and we offere different activities such as knitting, crochet, flower arrangement. creative writing and sharing cooking tips and recipes. We give them digital training and have deliver workshops on different topics such as knife and gun crime, healthy eating, online safety etc. Since Covid-19 we are still meeting up and delivering our services online through zoom sessions. We provide one to one counselling sessions. We have been lending tsblets to our Servi users so that they can keep in touch and attend regularly. We keep a track of our ladies through WhatsApp groups. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
