Notes on the Accounts for the period from 1°* January 2024 to 31** December 2024 

1. Restricted Funds: Restricted Funds reflect money donated to the Friends of Deep Griha (UK) for a specific purpose, e.g. for the Aadhar Kendra Child Sponsorship Programme. Such funds must be used for the purpose for which they are donated 

2. Unrestricted Funds: Unrestricted Funds reflect money donated to the Friends of Deep Griha (UK) with no purpose specified. The Trustees are able to use this money to make such grants as are deemed appropriate by the Trustees and to achieve the Charity’s Objects 

3. Receipts: Section A1 Restricted Funds 1. Aadhar Kendra Sponsorship donations, £13,023, include £63 Gift Aid claimed via PayPal in error. This was returned to HMRC in September 2024, see Payments below. 

   2. City of Child, £5,322, consists of £4,797 from a fundraiser by one of our supporters to purchase a rickshaw for use at City of Child, 

   £ 266 Gift Aid claimed on donations in 2022 to be used to maintain the solar powered water filter and 

   £ 260 other donations 

   3. Medical and Healthcare Programmes, £1,269, consists of £600 donations to the eye clinic and 

      - £669 Gift Aid claimed on donations to the eye clinic between 2020 and 2024 

   4. income Generation Programme, (£45), consists of 

      - (£189) adjustment in respect of a donation in November 2023 and included in Section A6 Cash funds last year end, which, during 2024, the donor requested be used for Senior Citizens Healthy Ageing Programme. Adjustment was made in this year’s Accounts, and 

      - £144 donated during 2024 

   5. Senior Citizens Healthy Ageing Programme, £916, consists of £256 donations £471 Gift Aid claimed on donations to the COVID Appeal during 2020 and 2021. The Deep Griha Society are no longer involved in any COVID support work and will use this for the Senior Citizens Healthy Ageing Programme 

      - £189 adjustment in respect of a donation in November 2023 to the Income Generation Programme and included as such in Section A6 Cash funds last year end, which, during 2024, the donor requested be used for Senior Citizens Healthy Ageing Programme

6. FODG UK Membership Subscriptions, £230, includes £90 Gift Aid claimed on 

   - membership subscriptions between 2020 and 2024 

7. FODG UK Donations, £254, includes £134 Gift Aid claimed on donations between 2020 and 2024

£1,681 Gift Aid claimed on donations between 2020 and 2024
