**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE FUND SHALL BE THE GRANTING OF CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE WHETHER IN THE FORM OF SINGLE SUMS OR IN THE FORM OF ANNUITIES OR ALLOWANCES TO PERSONS WHO ARE IN POOR CIRCUMSTANCES BY REASON OF SICKNESS OR OLD AGE OR OTHER REPUTABLE CAUSE WITH A PREFERENCE FOR PERSONS BORN OR FOR TWO YEARS OR UPWARDS RESIDENT IN THE COUNTY OF KENT WHO HAVE BEEN IN SOME WAY CONNECTED WITH THE PLAYING OF CRICKET AND SO THAT IN THE SELECTION OF PERSONS TO BENEFIT UNDER THE TRUST THE TRUSTEES SHALL GIVE EFFECT TO ANY DIRECTIONS WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE TRUST THAT MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE GIVEN TO THEM BY THE COMMITTEE OF THE KENT COUNTY CRICKET CLUB.

**Activities:** The granting of charitable assistance from income or capital to persons who are in poor circumstances by reason of sickness or old age or other reputable cause. There will be a preference for persons born, or for two years or upwards resident, in the county of Kent who have been in some way connected with the playing of cricket.
