Introduced to the village as a new green space.Villagers have adopted the green as their own area for both formal and informal events.Planting of trees and hedges has been developed to encourage wildlife.Fund-raising activities have brought the community together and help focus the aims of the Trust.
Objects: The Trustees Must Apply The Income Of The Charity In Furthering The Following Objects ("The Objects") In The Village Of Kettleburgh(a) Conserving And Maintaining Kettleburgh Village Green And Its Natural Biodiversity And Wildlife For The Public Benefit;(b) Providing A Community Garden For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of The Village; And (C) Providing Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation For Those Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity, Social Or Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.
