oncert in St Peter's Church.

music, food, arts and crafts 8nd 8 variety of chlldren's activities. This wa8 the second year of
°8osfest" and it proved to be ever more populmr. wf(h an estimated three thousand vlsitor8 Ovor
the weekènd. The event not only delivered great entertainm8ni for Ioc81families, it also provided
an opportunity foryoung performers to appear on *ho big Stage".
In maklng decision8 wbth re8pectto th¢ ￿rIOuS events included In the Festlval's programme for
th8 ytsar, the Tru8te88 have taken due r8gaTd of the CharityCornmi¥sion'8 public baneflt
guldance.

The financial yo8r 2024-2025 wo8 a ¥uc¢e¥sful one. vAth the charlty moderatsly in¢rg88in8 It

Total incomo Wo9 in ex¢e88 of £39.617, th8nksto strong tlckgt revenue and the contlnued
generosity of our sponsorg. Grants, sponsorship and donatlons amountgd to a tot81 of lust over
£8000.
Tot81 expendlture wa8 approximatoly £36.722. wlth the two day"BosfeJt" fe¥tlval 8ccountin8lor
much olthls. It cost almost £17000 to sts8O thlB one event ènd it Incurrod a 8ub8t8ntlal1083. of
opproxlmetely £6000, as It dld in 2024.
The Commftt8e continues to tollow a policy whereby. in broad terms, the fSn8nclal losses
re8ultlng from"Bosfest" and the general marketlng and administrotive costs of the charity are
covered by proflts gen•r8ted by the other events during the year. combined with tha Income
from grants, 8ponsorshlp and donaiion$ r*ferred to ab(Ne.

Largely a8 & re¥ult of 8ever•l v&ry$uecessful events in ihe p88t. the chority has built up reserves
of £36,880. Given its continuod rtliance on sponsorship and donations to cover it$ eo8t$, the
Commlttee take3 the view that maintaining 8 re8eNe of gpproxlmatgly £3000018 prudent and
would enable the continued existence of the charity for Some years even In the event of such
8UPPOrt being 8ignificantly reduced. for example. In the wake of 9nothgr financi81 crFsI8.
Moreover. interest eamed on the re8prv88 Contributss to the ongolng c08t8 01 the charlty,
