(2) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION AT THE UNIT OF EQUIPMENT,FACILITIES AND SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. (3) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS THROUGH THE SUPPORT AND PROMOTION OF RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT INTO THE CAUSES, DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF CARDIOVASCULAR AND RESPIRATORY DISEASE.
