We would like to thank our trustees, staff, volunteers, and members for their ongoing commitment and dedication. Structure, Governance, and Management Safety Net People First (SNPF) is a registered charity governed by its charity on 30th January 2002. We were officially registered with the Charity Commission on 17th June 2005. Trustee Appointments: SNPF members, who must have learning difficulties, elect trustees at the AGM.

Decision-making: The Board of Trustees meets every two months, ensuring inclusive decision-making with input from the CEO. At least two trustees must agree for a decision to be made. Trustees are responsible for updating policies, pr0dUreS, and job roles. Challenges and Risk Assessment sin the COVID-19 pandemic, our members continue to experience significant barriers. Many remain reluctant to engage in person due to anxiety, social isolation, and digital exclusion. Key challenges we have identified include: Worries around money is causing mental health issues among our members.

RedUd Confiden in social engagement, leading to loneliness and isolation. Ongoing dependency on a local council grant, highlighting the need for diversified funding. Difficulties in recruiting a new Personal Assistant for our CEO and Trustees, a challenge faced by many Disabled-led organisations. Limited recruitment of new members and trustees, affecting our capacity and sustainability. The need for accessible training opportunities for our Trustees and CEO. We also recognise that the cost of living crisis, cuts to disability benefits and disability SeNiS (such as social activities, advocacy support and lack of independent living housing), lack of acSsible information, and redUd availability of accessible transport caused more issues for people with learning difficulties in Hammersmith and Fulham.

We have recruited a PA and membership worker. We combined these two roles into one role due to difficulties recruiting them separately. We worked in partnership with Creighton House to get SNPF members to attended the Christmas meal - 20- 30 people attended. As well as holding our own Christmas meal with by 8 people ,.Disabled Presented a power point presentation and preformed a play at the AOD AGM and day of Independen of disabled persons event- attended by 70- 100 people. These achievements highlight our commitment to addressing the needs of our members and ensuring they have opportunities for social interaction and advocacy. Future Plans 10

We remain dedicated to ensuring our members feel empowered, connected, and supported as they navigate the post-pandemic world. The financial statements have been prepared under historical cost convention. The charity constitutes a public benefit entity under (FRS102). Going concern The COVID-19 viral pandemic has significant economic impact for the UK with unprecedented levels of uncertainty of outcomes. It is therefore difficult to evaluate all of the potential implications on the charity's operations and funding. The Trustees, view as set out on the Trustees report on page 5 "challenges and risk assessment" given the measures that could be undertaken to mitigate the current adverse conditions and the current resources available. they can continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. Dlsclosure exemptions The entity satisfies the criteria of being a qualifying entity as defined in FRS 102. As such, advantage has been taken of the exemption of including a cash flow statement. Fund accounting pollcy Unrestricted income funds are general funds that are available for use at the trustees, discretion in furtherance of the objectives of the charlty. Restricted funds are those donated for use In a particular area or for specific purposes as laid down by the donor. Expenditure whlch meets those criteria is identified to the fund. Income 17

Expenditure Liabilities are recognized as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the charity to expenditure. All expenditure is accounted on accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all costs related to the category. Charitable expenditure comprises those costs incurred by the charity in the delivery of its activities and sep4ices for its beneficiaries. It includes both costs that can be allocated direttly to such activities and those costs of an indirect nature necessary to support them. Irrecoverable VAT is charged as a cost against the activity for which the expenditure was incurred. Deferred income All incoming resources are included in the SOFA when the charity is legally entitled to the income and amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. Amounts which are not yet entitled to are carried fOard as deferred income. Governance costs Governance costs include costs of the preparation and examination of the statutory accounts, the costs of trustee meetings, training and the cost of any legal advice to trustees on governance or constitutional matters. Fixed assets Individual fixed asset costing £500 or more is recognized as an asset and recorded at cost.
