Activities

To manage and maintain Mrs Howard Memorial Hall, the first community building in Letchworth Garden City. This includes to rent out the property for hire, repair the property and hire staff to manage the property. In addition the charity will run projects from the premises with the aim to provide for the community of Letchworth Garden City and its inhabitants.

Objects: 1. To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Letchworth Garden City Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.2. To Manage And Maintain A Community Hall, Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Person Or Body In Furtherance Of These Objects.3. To Promote Such Charitable Purposes As The Trustees Shall In Their Absolute Discretion Determine.
