**Objects:** (A) TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE PUBLIC HEALTH AND IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING):(I) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC (PARTICULARLY YOUNG PEOPLE) ON THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTAINING AND IMPROVING THEIR MENTAL HEALTH; AND(II) TO ENSURE THAT SUFFERERS OF DEPRESSION, ANXIETY AND ANY OTHER FORM OF MENTAL ILL-HEALTH RECEIVE TREATMENT FOR THEIR ILLNESS,(B) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN RELATION TO DEPRESSION, ANXIETY AND ANY OTHER FORM OFMENTAL ILL-HEALTH TO LESSEN THE STIGMA ASSOCIATED WITH THEM; AND(C) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT.

**Activities:** CWMT gives free mental health training to schools, reaching thousands of pupils, teachers and parents. It also provides training to universities, workplaces, GPs and nurses, encouraging those who may be depressed to seek help. It raises awareness of depression and other mental health issues, particularly among young people, helping them take care of their emotional wellbeing and fighting stigma.
