GOFA has responded to referrals from Cornwall Councll's housing and adult soclal servlces departments and acts In partnershlp wllh other community agencles, such as Llvewegt, HDwever, GOFA Itself has llol been Immune to cost of livlng challenges. Although successfully negotlallng a new lease for Ils premlses from Cornwall Councll, GOFA wlll see its rent steadlly rlslng year on year over the next five years. Fuel and utlllty costs have Incrè.asÉd. In addltlon, thg Trtjstees felt It nece&8ary to Increase staff salarieg In line wlth Inflation. Consequentlyi It remalns a challenging alm for GOFA to reverse the decline In financial reserves It experIend durlng the pandemk.
