## **TRUSTEES REPORT 2021**
## **Income**
The year 2022 has been another excellent year of giving by the church; you are to be commended for your faithfulness. Giving for mission has continued to help us bless, our missions in Kenya. The total income for 2021 was 79k. We are glad to report that included in this figure we were able to get back in £12,965 in gift aid from TAX.
## **Expenses**
The total expenses were 56k for 2021, this includes 3.6k to mission. The remaining figures are the employment finances and general running costs of the church.
## **PASTOR’S REPORT EVENTS**
2021 Has seen a return to church meetings in the building, as with many churches numbers of people have gone down. However there has been a slow growth over the. The pastor was ill and took a few months sabbatical, Nathan Allen supported and managed the meetings during this period, we are grateful to him for his ministry.
_Preaching_ - We have continued to air live on Facebook Live and where possible eventually downloaded onto website, we have seen a good number of people connect with these platforms. I think 168 was the highest.
_Prayer_ - It has been a joy to open up the prayer meeting again, waiting on God is a vital part of the life of Regis.
_Worship –_ It has been a great joy to have live worship again with this amazing Worship Team.
## **MISSION**
We continue to support the boy’s home in Kenya receiving regular updates on the children’s progress. We have still been restricted in visiting. We are also supporting a local charity supplying gifts for families at Christmas

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
- Examine the accounts (under section 145 of the 2011 Act;
- To follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act; and
- State whether particular matters have come to my attention.
## **Basis of independent examiner’s report**
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
## **Independent examiner’s statement**
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
- (1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
- to keep accounting records in accordance with section130 of the 2011 Act; and
- to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act
have not been met: or
- (2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
