York People First actively pursues its objectives by providing training and promoting advocacy. We work in the Yorkshire and Humberside region.We have worked with a wide range of groups and organisations.

Objects: To Further Such Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of People With Learning Difficulties In York As The Management Committee Determine From Time To Time In Particular But Not Limited To The Foregoing By:3.1 Relieving Their Needs In Particular By The Provision Of Services To Enable Them To Obtain Their Full Rights And Privileges As Citizens By Providing Advocates For Such Persons;3.2 Advancing Their Education And That Of The General Public In Particular Through Training, Teaching And Development Programmes; And3.3 Developing Their Capacity And Skills In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society.
