Activities of the Charity
The Trust office is based in a UK property for its activities
Sri Lanka – Educational Project

The trust funded over 40 students at the start of 2021, continuing the scholarship scheme for ten years. The trust was funding 25 University Students, 7 graduated by the end of 2021. The scholarship scheme supports underprivileged students from various parts of Sri Lanka. Monthly payments are made to all students via bank transfers. One student successfully graduated from the universities during this period.

The trust members and devotees were unable to visit the school students in Sri Lanka in 2022 as the schools and universities were closed, due unrest in Sri Lanka.

The trust supports MacMillan Cancer Charity

The trust supports the Homeless Action in Barnet, by providing groceries once a month, enabling them to feed the homeless.

All activities were suspended during 2021, due to Covid 19.
India

The trust supports medical camps held in India for treatments such as diabetes for the underprivileged.

The trust actively supported the needy with food and masks, sanitisers, and other necessary medical items to help the situation with Covid 19.
Swami Rammanantha Sarasswathi believes in guiding people, particularly the youth to lead a balanced life in a multicultural society. He very much encourages and promotes the idea of providing service to the needy in any society amongst his devotees to propagate global citizenship. No spiritual trips have taken place during 2021 because of Covid 19.

General Charitsble Purposes Educationnraining The Advancement of Health of Saving of Lives The Prevention or Relief of Poverty Religious Activities Arts/CulturelHeritsge/Scien Organisation and Structure There shall be at least three trustees and every future trustee shall be apKM)inted in accordan with the Trust Deed. The chartty is administered and managed by the trustees who have duties to hold in trust. for the benefit of the charity. all property. funds. or otherwise vested in them. The thartty relies on help of volunteers who help during fund raising events. carry out fund raising activities. The charity raises its funds via fund raising events conducted during Swami's visit to London for approximatety four weeks a year. This has not been possible due to Covid-19 at present. Financial review During the year the charity raised £35.082 as donations. In addition. the charity collected £5.437 from devotees.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES The trustees are required by law to prepare financial statements for each financial year which Bive a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the Charity as at the end of the financial year and of surplus or deficit for the period. The Trustee5 confirm that appropriate accounting policies have been used and applied consistently and reasonable prudent judgments and estimate5 have been made in the prepar4tion of the financial ststements for the year ended 31 December 2021. The Trustees confimi that the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis and that applicable accounting standards have been followed. The Trustees are responsible for maintaining adequate accounting records, for safeguarding the assets of the charity, and for taking reasonable steps to prevent and detect fraud and other irregularities. Legacies are included when the charty is advised by the personal representative of an estate that payment will be made. and the amount involved can be quantified. Income includes the total amount receivable in the year. ¢ Expenditure Expenditure is included when incurred. Dirert charitable expenditure comprises expenditure direct attributable to the main activrties and objects of the charity. Management and administrative costs are those incurred in connection wtth the management of the charitys assets, organisational, administration and compliance with ststutory requirements. d Funding Accounting Funds held by the charty are unrestricted general funds. There are funds which can be used in accordance with the charitable objects at the discretion of the board of trustees. e Cash Flow Ststement The chartty has taken advantsge of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard No I from requirement to produce a cash flow statement.
