61 Revlew of the year
a} Chalrfs report
The year 2023 has been quiet a challenging year for our organisation due to cost-
of-living crisls in the United Kingdom. The cost-of-living crisis and lack of funding
have forced our organisation to just provide minimum servlce to our service-
users.
bl Flnances
It has been dlfficult for oor organlsatlon to get funds from different funding
bodies and grants making or8anisations. Many applications for grants and
funding were made, but unfortunately most of them were unsuccessful.
However we were forced to adapt to the current situation and worked very hard
throughout the year In order to enable our organisation to sustain during the
year 2023.
cl Organisational development
Given the actual state of the financial situation of our organisation, we were not
able to provide as much as possible different kinds of projects and activities for
our service-users a5 we have planned to do.
We took advantage of taking part in different kind of training project5. These
projects enabled our organisation mana8ement committee's members and
volunteers to develop resilience and become more effective to run and
implement well the work of our organisation in the current situation.
