To whom it may concern

CARE Pakistan had an average year ending April 2021. Our objective as a UK based charity is to raise funding in the UK to support the education of under privileged children in Pakistan. We support CARE a Pakistan based charity, which provides education to 250,000 children, boys and girls in 800 schools across Pakistan. It is the largest educational charity in the world and details can be found at www.carepakistan.org .

As a sister but independent charity www.carepakistan.org.uk, we attempt to raise money in the UK towards that cause.

We are completely staffed by volunteers, and our expenditure principally goes towards fund raising events.

In the year ending April 2019, we raised approximately £91k, and we remitted £100k CARE Pakistan. Our fundraising costs for the year were approximately £23k .

We continue to strive for success for the work we are doing. Fundraising is always a challenge as there are so many good causes.

I can confirm that I have acted as an independent examiner for the Accounts of CARE Pakistan a UK registered charity # 1109138 for the period 06/04/2020 to 06/04/2021.

The accounts were prepared based on accrual accounting in keeping with SORP 2008 practices. In reality, they also reflect the actual receipts and expenditures for the period, which can be reconciled with their bank statements.

Their reflection of assets and liabilities are also in accordance of SORP 2008 accounting practices.
