srRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The Charity is governed by a document known as a constitution. It is an unincorporated association
administered by trustees who are elected during the year.
OBJEcfivES AND ACTIVITIES
The charltqs prime objective is to advance the educatior) of pupils at Hanslope Primary School by
providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recrèational and other charitable facilities by the
local authority or the Department for Education.
In planning the activltles for the year the trustee5 kept in mind the charity commission's guidance on
publlc beneflts
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
In previous year5 we would go on various educatlonal trips, like the National Museum of Iustlce, Tower
of London, Birm1ngham Sea life Centre, WBrwick Castle and The Isle of White. These trips are
chargeable trips and are sometimes subsidised by the school fundraising team or the school budget.
But this yèar due to Covid 19 we have been unable to have any trips or fundralslng events.

During the school year the children undertake music lessons, with a number of different Instruments
belng available Including cello, violln, keyboard and woodwind.
Fundraising Actlvltles
The school fund deals with the sale of water bottles, book bags and Foundation learning packs. Any
fundraSsing undertaken by the children for specific reasons (for example Comlc Relief or Children in
Needl is forwarded on to the relevant company or charity.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The objectlve of a charity is not to make a surplus/deficit but to ensure that expenses are covered. n)e
financial result5 show a deficit of1£5,5131 for this period. The prevlous year had a surplus of £40,416.
PLANS FOR FUTURE PERIODS
The future will be governed by Covid 19. However, we will continue the enhancement of positive
mental health and the provision of facilitie5 for all our puplls.
RESPONSIBIIITIES OF THE TRUSTEES
The charity's trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustee5 Annual Report and the financial
statements In accordance with applicable law and Unlted KIAgdom Accountin8 Standards Iunlted
Kingdom Genera51y Accepted Accounting Practice).
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that dlsclose with reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the Charity and enable them to ensure that the flnancial
statements comply wlth the Charltles Act 2011 and the Charity (Accounts and Reports) RegulatlOV15
2008. The trustees are also responsible for safeeuarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking
reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud Bnd other Irregularitles.

Zoe Foo FCCA has been appolnted as independent examlnef by Head Teacher Ryan Brown in Ileu of
annual general meeting.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TOTHE TRUSTEES OF
HANSLOPE COMBINED SCHOOL FUND
FOR THE PERIOD I APRIL 2019 TO 31 AUGUST 2020
I report on the accounts of the charity for the period i April 2019 to 31 August 2020 which are set out
on pages 4 to 5.
RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of tlie accounts. The charity'5 trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this period under sectlon 144121 of the Charities Act 2011
Ithe 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It Ss my responsibility to..
examine the actounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act,.
to follow the procedures laid down in the general Dlrections given by the Charity Commission
under sectlon 14515llbl of the 2011 Act.. and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
My examination Wds carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charltv
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual
items or dlsclosures in the accounts, and .£èeking eKplanatlons from you a5 trustees concerning any
such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in
an Hudit and consequently no opinion 15 given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view,
and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
SCHEME FOR FINANCING SCHOOLS
Given the Information provided, for the completion of the schools Independent Examiners Report for
review of the voluntary funds, I can confirm that no Dedicated school Fund5 are being admlnistered
via voluntary of private funds.
