NHS and vulnerèble communltles across the UK. Donations of over £1.8m were received from friends. members of the
BirfÈy clubs, tuslomers of the restaurants and members of the publ1¢ and people from all over the world. &Jppliers gifted
food and delfvery truck5 3nd thdr drlvers. O¥er 30,000 volunteer hours weregfven by the team5 from The Ivyi 81115 and The

5a0 Paulo, Braill. Throu8h our on8oln8 5UPPVrt for West House, we have enbblÈd hundred5 of women and their chlldren
e5eapin8 dgme5tlr abuse to find the strength to leave their abU￿r5, to secure safety, to rebulld their self-esipem, and t

Throu8h the support of The Carln8 Fami￿ Foundatlon, West HOUSÈ has been able to offer the Professlonal Human
Cèpacitation course which not only alrns to equip them with prDfe551onal Skills so they can start a trade and financlally
provlde for themselves and their childrÈn, but a150 teaches them how to dÈrvnstruEI their history of vlolence and realise
the¥ are more thèn what happened to them. SDThetlmes flndlng the strength to flee an abuslve relatlonshlp Is just the flrst
step in breJkiTrg the cyrle of dome5tlc vlolence, and the unique communlty of women supportin8 women at West House
helps survNor5 throu8h the extended process of rebuildlng ttteir I￿e5 wSth a newfound Sense of independence and peace.
With the women we support we identified the requirement for professional development trainlng to gain Èmployment and
financ+al Security to break rhe cycle of abuse. The tourse commenced at the end of thÈ 2020. 26 v40men started the
rouise. 20 finlshed the cour5p. Of the 6 whll not complete. 3 found emplDyment before the end of the ceurse and 3
were unable to complete due to covid. Of the 20 who tompleted the course. 3 went into the lorrnal labDUf rnarket, 6 were
within 5eloctlon processes, 9 had started their own businesse$ and 2 were Inthe Informal labour morket.
