Our charity's services varies from humanitarian relief to a longer term development projects in Somalia. HIRDA UK has also specific objectives in UK communities includes :To mobilise communities and encourage active participation for the developments of the community needs by building community owned local educational and cultural centres.
Objects: 1 The Relief Of Poverty, Sickness And Distress In Africa, In Particular But Without Limitation Somalia;2 The Advancement Of Education In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of Schools And Education For Children And By The Provision Of Vocational Training And Assistance In Basic Literacy Within The Area Described At Clause 3 (1).3 The Advancement Of Education Amongst The General Public In England In Raising Awareness Regarding The Developmental Needs Among African Communities And The Relief Of Need Among The Somalia Community In The United Kingdom In Order That Such Persons May Fully Contribute To Society And To Improve Their Conditions Of Life;4 The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health Of Persons In Africa In Particular But Not By Way Of Limitation By The Provision Of Mother And Child-Care Health Centres And Information And Advice On Hiv/aids And The Provision Of Clean Drinking Water And Sanitation Projects.
