**Objects:** TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF WOMEN IN THE CITY OF SUNDERLAND AND IN PARTICULAR WILL3.1  PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FORM OF SHORT COURSES AND ACCESS TO EDUCATIONAL GUIDANCE;3.2  PROVIDE CRECHE FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN UNDER 5, BOTH WITHIN THE CENTRE AND FOR OTHER VOLUNTARY PROJECTS USING THE CENTRE, THROUGHOUT THE CITY TO ENABLE WOMEN'S PARTICIPATION;3.3  ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS TO BECOME ACTIVE IN THEIR COMMUNITY;3.4  OFFER RESOURCES, MEETING SPACE, CRECHE PROVISION AND INFORMATION TO OTHER COMMUNITY AND STATUTORY AGENCIES, TO FURTHER DEVELOP OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN.

**Activities:** SWC aims to instil a sense of purpose & achievement, improve prospects for employment & quality of life, freely without discrimination, by removing barriers to encourage those who may have felt excluded to participate in activities. We offer social & healthy activities, as well as accredited learning in the city centre, with childcare on-site, open to all within Sunderland and surrounding areas.
