**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE, SUBJECT TO THE LAWFUL RIGHTS OF THE COMMONERS:(I) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF BOWDEN DOWN AND PART LIDDATON DOWN, BRENTOR IN THE COUNTY OF DEVON, IN OUR OWNERSHIP ("THE BRENTOR COMMONS").(II) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE BRENTOR COMMONS.

**Activities:** The charity owns 45 acres of common land in the parish of Brentor, West Devon. Half the area is managed as very low input grassland. Biodiversity surveys of this lowland heath have identified sites of national significance and targeted species (including mud snails and fritillary butterflies) for management. Volunteer working parties aid with coppicing, gorse & bracken control and tree planting
