PENNYMOOR ASSOCIATION TRUST Report of the Trustees for the year ended 31" August 2024 The Trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31" August 2024.The trustees have adopted the proisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the Uk and Republic of Ireland,FRS102,effective I"January 2015. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objects and aims The charity was formed to; Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Stoneydelph and surrounding areas,without the distinction of sex,sexual orientation,race,or of political,religious,or other opinions,by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities,voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation,with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. Establish ,or secure the establishment of ,a community centre,and to maintain and manage the same,whether alone,or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body,in furtherance of these objects/ Promote other such charitable purposes,as may from time to time be determined. Public benefit In setting objectives and planning activities ,the Trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit.
