**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES AND THEIR CARERS BY THE PROVISION OF AN ADVOCACY SERVICE, ADVICE, SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND OTHER CHARITABLE SERVICES TO ENABLE THEM TO MAKE INDEPENDENT DECISIONS AND THEREFORE TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** Middlesbrough 1st promotes self-advocacy and personal development through education and training for adults with learning disabilities and their carers.  We also offer an advocacy service for carers and people who access services.  We hold meetings every month alongside the training and also social evenings.
